CU a 33-point underdog against Oregon ...
- All I know is that it sucks that CU is a five-touchdown underdog ... ever! (63%, 135 Votes)
- Too high. Buffs have shown a willingness to keep fighting; Ducks will play conservative and pull stars once game is in hand (26%, 55 Votes)
- Not high enough. Recall that it was 56-0 at halftime the last time the Buffs were in Eugene (11%, 25 Votes)

My pick for winning the Pac-12 South ...

- Arizona State (8-2, 5-2) ... OSU game aside, playing the best of late (24%, 49 Votes)
- Utah (7-3, 4-3) ... Because its been that crazy of a year (5%, 11 Votes)
- Arizona (8-2, 5-2) ... Can beat Utah and ASU and slide in (4%, 10 Votes)

Every other Pac-12 South team already has at least seven wins ...
- What's more interesting is that every team in the North other than Oregon has a losing conference record (41%, 68 Votes)
- Exciting! To be the best, you have to beat the best. CU needs to get it going! (35%, 58 Votes)
- Depressing. Even if the Buffs improve significantly, they'll still be last in the Pac-12 South (24%, 41 Votes)

CU takes down Drexel, 65-48, in season opener
- I'll take it, but the Buffs were sloppy throughout much of the game. They'll have to play better to beat Auburn (56%, 92 Votes)
- Very good win. Scott will dominate this season; Buffs deeper than ever (39%, 63 Votes)
- A win over a team from the Colonial conference? Yawn. Wake me up in January, when the games count (5%, 8 Votes)

My plans for the MBB season opener v. Drexel (6:00 p.m., Friday, Pac-12 Networks)
- I'll be at the game, watching on TV, or listening on the web/radio (70%, 123 Votes)
- I have other plans, but will be checking for updates during the game (20%, 36 Votes)
- I'm cheering for the Buffs, of course, but I won't be watching/following the game - not that interested (10%, 17 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
