Rocky Mountain Showdown set for 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19th
  • Sounds good. Good time of day, with time for tailgating, but not getting over too late (71%, 146 Votes)
  • Doesn't matter. I'm not going / going anyway, so the kickoff wasn't going to be a factor either way (22%, 45 Votes)
  • Not a fan. Games should be played at 1:30 ... at least it's not 11:00 a.m. or 8:00 p.m. (7%, 15 Votes)

My interest level in seeing the new uniforms on Friday
  • Medium. I'm hoping that they are cool for recruits, without taking away from CU traditions (59%, 149 Votes)
  • High. It's been quite the buildup, so I am anxious/excited to see what they have come up with (27%, 67 Votes)
  • Low. I really don't see the draw. To me, it's much ado about nothing (14%, 35 Votes)

Are training table budget discrepancies between schools a concern?
  • Yes. Schools will take whatever recruiting advantages they can, and this is a new loophole (39%, 83 Votes)
  • All I know is that CU is last in the Pac-12 ... in yet another category (33%, 70 Votes)
  • Not really. Sure, Oregon and USC will have a better spread ... but I doubt menus will be a recruiting deal breaker (28%, 62 Votes)

Does the lack of a likely draft pick from CU alter your NFL draft viewing plans?
  • No. I will still be watching - to see which players my NFL team picks up this year (51%, 101 Votes)
  • No ... Because I don't watch the draft even if CU has players likely to be selected (34%, 67 Votes)
  • Yes. When Buffs are in play, I pay more attention to the NFL draft (15%, 32 Votes)

Todd Graham lashes out against "cupcake" non-conference games
  • The argument would have been more compelling if ASU didn't have Cal Poly on its schedule (52%, 101 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
