Colorado falls to Utah, 38-34. My grade:
- C ... Frustrating loss. Each unit had at least one bad play. You can't make mistakes and win games (47%, 149 Votes)
- B ... Once again, just a play or two away from victory. A team on the rise! (36%, 115 Votes)
- F ... All that matters is the final score (12%, 37 Votes)
- A ... Buffs played even with yet another ranked team. I'm excited about the 2015 season! (5%, 16 Votes)

If the Buffs lose to the Utes, should Coach MacIntyre be on the "hot seat" entering the 2015 season?
- No - Anyone who hasn't seen the improvement in the program over the past two seasons hasn't been paying attention (87%, 232 Votes)
- Yes - A Pac-12 record of 2-16 and an eight-game losing streak requires extra scrutiny next fall (13%, 36 Votes)

If I were Mike MacIntyre, my starting quarterback this weekend would be:
- Sefo Liufau. Simply put, Liufau gives CU the best chance at winning. Sorry, but Gehrke hasn't got what it takes. (95%, 222 Votes)
- Jordan Gehrke - Starting him against Oregon was not a fair test. Utah leads the nation in sacks, and Gehrke is more mobile (5%, 11 Votes)

CU takes down Air Force, 68-53 ...
- The Buffs are still young (one senior), and still learning its way. No win should be taken for granted - they'll get better! (59%, 103 Votes)
- Five turnovers before the first shot is taken? Two baskets in final nine minutes? This team will not stand up to decent competition (21%, 36 Votes)
- The 25-0 run in the first half was a thing of beauty - It shows what this team is capable of doing this year! (20%, 36 Votes)
Start Date: November 25, 2014 @ 10:16 pm

Buffs taking on Air Force Tuesday night ...
- Wyoming game an anomaly. The Buffs will bounce back in a big way against the under-sized Falcons (52%, 91 Votes)
- It will probably be close - painfully close - but Buffs will figure out a way to win late at home (36%, 63 Votes)
- AFA the wrong team to play after a bad shooting night - a disciplined team with great perimeter shooting. I'm worried about the outcome (12%, 22 Votes)
Start Date: November 24, 2014 @ 7:49 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
