My Grade for CU's Recruiting Class
- B ... Good work on the skill position recruits, but more/better linemen would have helped (57%, 220 Votes)
- C ... It says something about CU's recent history when we get excited about a Class ranked in the 60's (20%, 78 Votes)
- A ... Buffs bring in the QB, RB, and WR to lead CU to a bowl game this fall (20%, 78 Votes)
- D ... Last in Pac-12 rankings = Last in Pac-12 standings (3%, 11 Votes)

The recruit I am most excited about ...
- QB transfer Davis Webb. In college football, it begins and ends with the quarterback (47%, 207 Votes)
- RB Beau Bisharat. When was the last time CU beat out the entire Pac-12 for a recruit? (43%, 191 Votes)
- WR Juwann Winfree. A four-star performer who already has P5 experience (6%, 27 Votes)
- DL Pookie Maka. CU finally gets a difference maker on the defensive line (4%, 20 Votes)

Would you rate the CU recruiting efforts this year a "success"?
- Pick up a few Signing Day bonuses, like Bisharat, Winfree and Burns, and it will be a great Class (57%, 231 Votes)
- Even without late day signees, CU recruiting efforts took a real step forward this year (27%, 108 Votes)
- Lowest rated Class in the Pac-12? Again? Hard to call that a "success". (16%, 65 Votes)
Start Date: February 2, 2016 @ 8:18 pm
End Date: No Expiry
CU receives no votes in either AP or USA Today coaches poll ...
- It's fine ... if it puts a chip on the Buffs' shoulder for the game against No. 16 Oregon on Thursday (62%, 199 Votes)
- Not unreasonable. CU still hasn't posted a "signature" win, and is coming off a 16-18 season. (23%, 75 Votes)
- Buffs 17-5, 6-3 (exact records as USC and Utah, which are receiving votes). Bias against CU continues (15%, 48 Votes)
Start Date: February 1, 2016 @ 9:34 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What I like best about the commitment from Pookie Maka
- That Maka had offers from a dozen Power-Five schools, including half the Pac-12 (60%, 227 Votes)
- That Maka is a three-star prospect at the crucial DE/OLB position - a real position of need for CU (29%, 111 Votes)
- That Buff fans will be able to spend the next 4/5 years cheering for "Poooookie" (11%, 43 Votes)
Start Date: January 31, 2016 @ 8:57 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
