My interest level in Texas Tech quarterback Davis Webb
- High. Webb could be the difference between earning a bowl bid and sitting home again in 2016 (45%, 137 Votes)
- Medium. The more competition at the position, the better. CU needs better quarterback play (40%, 123 Votes)
- Low. Webb would be one-and-done, and won't get to Boulder until this summer (15%, 47 Votes)

Buffs take down Oregon State Beavers, 71-54
- A great win! If the Buffs continue to play like this, CU will definitely make the Big Dance in March (61%, 155 Votes)
- OSU was picked to finish 6th in the Pac-12, the Buffs 7th ... Result was about what you'd expect (31%, 79 Votes)
- Gary Payton II had 26 points and 15 rebounds ... Buffs lack of a shut-down defender a huge concern (8%, 22 Votes)

Preseason rankings have Pac-12 far removed from CFB playoffs
- Way too early discuss. Remember, ASU and Arizona were both ranked last preseason (65%, 148 Votes)
- Not likely. Stanford is undervalued, and will make a playoff run behind McCaffrey (21%, 47 Votes)
- Likely to be the case. The Pac-12 will have some good, but no great teams this fall (14%, 32 Votes)

Alabama a touchdown favorite over Clemson in the national championship game
- Take Alabama and give the points. I don't see this as being particularly close (42%, 87 Votes)
- Clemson is the only undefeated team in the country ... and will stay that way (33%, 69 Votes)
- Alabama will win, but Clemson will keep it within a touchodown (25%, 53 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
