Best guess on how CU (4-3) will fare against Stanford (4-3) and Cal (4-3) this week
- CU sweeps the Bay area schools; Buffs establish themselves as a top-four Pac-12 school (74%, 183 Votes)
- A split. Buffs beat Stanford and lost to Cal on the road. Similar results at home. (24%, 60 Votes)
- I'm a contrarian ... Buffs lose both, NIT now clearly in their future (2%, 4 Votes)

My (near) mid-season pick to win the Pac-12 ...
- Arizona - The Wildcats are struggling now, but are still the class of the league (39%, 90 Votes)
- Colorado - Why not? When the Buffs play well, they are as good as any other team (36%, 83 Votes)
- Oregon - No team is playing better right now (glad Buffs beat the Ducks when they had the chance) (16%, 36 Votes)
- Other ... UCLA, Washington, Cal, USC, Utah ... (9%, 20 Votes)

CU defeats Washington State, 75-70. Thoughts?
- A Pac-12 road win - when not playing your best? Love it! (57%, 120 Votes)
- All I know is CU already has more regular season wins than all of last year ... with 11 games to go (35%, 74 Votes)
- Buffs gave up 15 layups, and - once again - could not contain the opponent's top scorer. Future not looking bright (8%, 18 Votes)
Start Date: January 24, 2016 @ 10:51 am
End Date: No Expiry
The loss of quarterback Sheriron Jones ...
- Means little. He wasn't even going to compete for a job until 2017. (58%, 147 Votes)
- Means that the black cloud hanging over the Dal Ward Center has drifted over to the Champions Center (29%, 74 Votes)
- Is devastating. The quarterback is the most important position, and Jones was a four-star mobile quarterback (13%, 34 Votes)
Start Date: January 23, 2016 @ 12:54 pm
End Date: No Expiry
My take on three-star commit Ca'Ron Baham ...
- I'm just glad to see a commit from a player with offers from other Power-Five conference schools (56%, 170 Votes)
- A versatile speedster from the same school which produced Kordell Stewart? Yes, please! (37%, 111 Votes)
- Another work in progress (torn ACL in game one of 2015 season)? Sigh. (7%, 23 Votes)
Start Date: January 22, 2016 @ 9:33 am

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
