What is CU's greatest position of need to fill out the Recruiting Class of 2019?
- Defensive back - preferably at safety. CU graduates its two starters, with no proven backups there to take their place (47%, 167 Votes)
- Quarterback. CU hasn't gone without signing at least one quarterback in years - and shouldn't have a gap in the roster this year (19%, 67 Votes)
- Running back - preferably another senior transfer, or a junior college prospect. The position remains suspect (17%, 60 Votes)
- Defensive line. While the unit is improving, there remains a shocking lack of depth (13%, 45 Votes)
- Linebacker - see above (4%, 18 Votes)
Start Date: December 27, 2018 @ 5:49 pm

Tad Boyle's contract calls for an automatic one-year extension on December 31st. Should Rick George opt out of the one-year extension?
- No. Once again - as down as Buff fans feel the program has been, it is still vastly improved from what CU has had before ... for decades (50%, 162 Votes)
- Yes, but not because Boyle needs to be canned. George just needs to send a message that continued mediocrity will not be tolerated (34%, 110 Votes)
- Yes. It's time to acknowledge that Tad Boyle has reached his plateau. It's up to Rick George to cut the cord, and try and take the team to the next level (16%, 49 Votes)

Buffs finish non-conference schedule with a 9-3 record. Thoughts?
- We'll see if Tad can get the team together before conference play, but, with five of the first seven Pac-12 games on the road, I'm afraid the Buffs will get off to a rough Pac-12 start (48%, 144 Votes)
- This team is a mess. If not for a cupcake non-conference schedule, this would be a sub .500 team. I predict a losing record in Pac-12 play (38%, 115 Votes)
- Some decent wins; some not so great losses. With a down Pac-12 conference, anything can happen once we get to conference action (14%, 41 Votes)
Start Date: December 25, 2018 @ 4:48 pm
End Date: No Expiry
All I want for Christmas (or, what I would prefer for Christmas for my Buffs) ...
- Three assistant coaching vacancies filled by coaches who not only have quality coaching backgrounds, but who can recruit in California and Texas without having to refer to Google maps (54%, 152 Votes)
- A Tad Boyle offense which doesn't turn the ball over 15-20 times a game, so that CU could be at least competitive in a down year for the Pac-12 (25%, 69 Votes)
- A senior transfer or quality JC commit for the lines, at linebacker, and/or at safety, to shore up CU's chances in 2019 (21%, 60 Votes)
Start Date: December 24, 2018 @ 9:59 am
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
