The Mike MacIntyre scrimmage analysis quote I liked best:
- "I see our pass rushing picking up" (44%, 113 Votes)
- "It's good to see Jake Moretti play the snaps he played. He played really well" (21%, 54 Votes)
- "Colby Pursell didn't have a bad snap all day in his first live scrimmage" (19%, 50 Votes)
- "The experiment of Drew Lewis at outside linebacker went very well" (16%, 40 Votes)

Which of these "newcomers" do you believe will have the greatest impact this fall?
- DL Israel Antwine - an instant star (47%, 136 Votes)
- OLB/S Davion Taylor: "A real talented guy" (32%, 94 Votes)
- DL/OLB Mustafa Johnson - fills one of CU's biggest needs (16%, 48 Votes)
- WR Jaylon Jackson - hungry after three years of injury (5%, 13 Votes)

What I'm taking from the reports from the CU Fall scrimmage
- That Travon McMillian is the real deal, with he and Kyle Evans making up CU's "Thunder and Lightning" backs for 2018 (46%, 76 Votes)
- That Buff fans tend to over-analyze off-season news ... Nothing new to see or talk about (38%, 64 Votes)
- That Buff fans shouldn't count on OL Jake Moretti, who is - still - not a "full go" for practices and scrimmages (16%, 27 Votes)

Thoughts on CU's tight end roster ...
- Excited. There is talent there, and with a new offensive coordinator calling the plays. Who knows? This could be a great year for the tight ends! (38%, 63 Votes)
- Not that excited. No tight end has had more than 15 catches in the past five years. Color me skeptical (31%, 51 Votes)
- Wait ... Colorado has tight ends on the roster?? (31%, 51 Votes)
Start Date: August 10, 2018 @ 6:52 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Thoughts on Pac-12 teams moving non-conference games to November
- Would have to see who CU scheduled. CU v. Nebraska in November? Sure! (62%, 143 Votes)
- Hate it. It's hard enough getting folks to Folsom in November - CU v. New Hampshire in November? Folsom would be empty (21%, 48 Votes)
- Love it! SEC teams schedule "bye" week games every year - Pac-12 should follow suit (17%, 38 Votes)
Start Date: August 9, 2018 @ 6:25 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
