Laviska Shenault listed as "day-to-day" for the Washington game
- It's okay either way. Shenault is a special talent, to be sure, but Winfree could be back, and Jaylon Jackson is ready to show his stuff. Wide receiver is the deepest position on the team (51%, 138 Votes)
- I hope that they rest him. Colorado is going to lose to Washington anyway, and I rather have him healthy for the rest of the season (27%, 73 Votes)
- I hope that he can play. It's all hands on deck for the Washington game (22%, 60 Votes)

CU is more than a two-touchdown underdog against Washington
- Sad to say, it's probably about right. Washington has a strong defense, and the CU offense is struggling. This could get ugly (53%, 180 Votes)
- Let's withhold judgment until we know about Laviska Shenault's ability to play. If Viska can't go ... it could be a long afternoon. If CU's play-makers are healthy, anything's possible (36%, 123 Votes)
- Ridiculous. Sure, the Buffs should be underdogs, but this is not 2017. This won't be a blowout (and I'm not convinced the CU can't beat a Husky team down after a tough loss to Oregon) (11%, 37 Votes)

CU falls out of the Associated Press poll (down to No. 25 in Coaches' poll). Thoughts?
- Not a surprise (actually a surprise that CU stayed in the Coaches' poll. Buffs still need to prove they are a Top 25 team (53%, 144 Votes)
- Not sure it makes much of a difference ... CU will fall off the radar altogether next Sunday morning if the Buffs lose to Washington (38%, 103 Votes)
- Buffs fell more than what was merited. Washington State gets in the poll after a bye? Great system ... (9%, 23 Votes)
Start Date: October 14, 2018 @ 10:18 pm

No. 19 Colorado falls to USC, 31-20. Thoughts?
- The Buffs said that they treated each week as a new season, and weren't getting ahead of themselves. I hope that holds true, and that the Buffs can (quickly) put this game behind them (54%, 207 Votes)
- Should have been expected. USC is more talented, and coming off of a bye. I do appreciate the Buffs fighting to the end, with two late touchdowns (28%, 107 Votes)
- I guess what the national pundits were saying is true. CU is not a very good football team - the Buffs were just lucky that their first five opponents were so easy (18%, 70 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
