It's time ... Your prediction for the 2018 Rocky Mountain Showdown
- CU is a 7.5-point favorite, and that sounds about right. Tough game (as it usually is), but Buffs prevail in the end (42%, 172 Votes)
- Rams couldn't handle Hawai'i, a lower tier G5 school, at home. Buffs take down the Rams in a rout! (39%, 161 Votes)

ESPN has CU going 6-6, 4-5, playing Iowa State in the Cheez-It Bowl
- Not a fan. This team will have a winning record well before the Buffs get to bowl season. Just more disrespect of where this team is going (34%, 109 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
