Thoughts on CU's three new scholarship players
- Don't know the players very well - but giving walk-ons scholarship is always good for team morale (46%, 96 Votes)
- Last year's Scout team POY, kickoff specialist, and special teams standout - no issues here (42%, 88 Votes)
- Not sure about giving up a scholarship to a red-shirt freshman third-string tight end (12%, 25 Votes)

How would you rate the CU defensive line?
- We'll see. I have my fingers crossed ... but I have my concerns (69%, 152 Votes)
- A liability. CU is looking to three JC's along the line. Two were disappointments last year; the third is new and unproven. The line was pushed around last year, with no sure bets on improvement (21%, 46 Votes)
- A strength. Edwards and Mulumba will be better; Johnson and Lang bring new talent and depth (10%, 21 Votes)

Stadium-wide beer sales return to Folsom Field. Thoughts?
- Excited! Sales help revenue, attendance, and crowd enthusiasm - plus, plus, plus! (71%, 196 Votes)
- Not excited. There were good reasons why beer sales were banned - and those reasons haven't gone away (15%, 42 Votes)
- I just want to know - are cup fights and "passing up" of coeds also coming back? (14%, 37 Votes)

Which September game to you is the most intriguing ...
- Nebraska. The best chance for CU to make an early national statement (70%, 213 Votes)
- UCLA. The Pac-12 opener, on a Friday night, against Chip Kelly? Crucial. (18%, 54 Votes)
- CSU. For better or worse, the Buffs' season depends on beating the Rams (12%, 36 Votes)
- New Hampshire. First home game - CU's best chance to put together a complete game early (0%, 1 Votes)
Start Date: August 15, 2018 @ 6:55 pm

How would rate the CU offensive line?
- A question mark. If Moretti and Lynott play at full strength, there is hope for this unit. Otherwise ... it could get ugly (76%, 212 Votes)
- A liability. The line is woefully inexperienced. If the Buffs don't make a bowl this fall, the offensive line will be a major reason why (15%, 42 Votes)
- A strength. There is some young talent there, and I believe they will come through this fall (9%, 25 Votes)
Start Date: August 14, 2018 @ 7:24 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
