Colorado getting some Top 25 love (No. 20 ESPN; No. 24 CBS). Thoughts?
- Love it! Glad to see CU back on the national radar. Keep it up, Buffs! (45%, 173 Votes)
- Means little. The only poll that really matters is the AP poll (CU currently No. 31). It will take some Pac-12 wins to crack the poll of record (42%, 161 Votes)
- Not a fan. Buffs opened 3-0 last year, and then fell flat. I'd rather the Buffs stay underappreciated - and motivated (13%, 52 Votes)

What I liked best about CU's 33-28 win over Nebraska ...
- That this Buffs team faced down adversity and 90,000 fans - which bodes well for the rest of the season (69%, 372 Votes)
- That the Buffs have taken down their two biggest rivals in succession. It's fun to be a Buff right now! (18%, 98 Votes)
- That Laviska Shenault and Nate Landman are first-team All-Pac-12 performers (and perhaps even All-American) (13%, 69 Votes)

Colorado 33, Nebraska 28 ... Your thoughts?
- I don't know about the future of the program, or even what will happen next week. But I do know I am going to enjoy the hell out of beating CSU and Nebraska for the next 51 weeks! (50%, 284 Votes)
- Holy s**t!! What a great win for the program!! This team is going to have a great year!! (33%, 186 Votes)
- Good to collect a win over a mediocre program. But 44 yards rushing (and seven sacks) ... Buffs started 3-0 last year, but then went 2-7 in Pac-12 play. Yikes! We'll see how 2018 unfolds ... (17%, 95 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for CU's first battle against Nebraska since 2010:
- The Buffs' big win over CSU, coupled with Huskers' cancellation, give CU the edge in a close game. Buffs win late (52%, 159 Votes)
- Scott Frost won't be in uniform - players who went 4-8 (115th-ranked scoring defense) will be. Buffs win going away! (38%, 115 Votes)
- At home or on a neutral field, I might take the Buffs, but Memorial Stadium has been a house of disappointment for CU ... Nebraska wins (10%, 29 Votes)
Start Date: September 7, 2018 @ 3:11 pm
End Date: No Expiry
The Pac-12 South underdog (other than CU!) most likely to cover the spread this weekend:
- USC - a 6.0-point underdog to Stanford. The Trojans beat the Cardinal twice last year, and probably will again (29%, 93 Votes)
- UCLA - a 30.0 point underdog to Oklahoma. The Bruins are bad - but not that bad (27%, 86 Votes)
- Arizona State - a 6.0-point underdog to Michigan State. Sun Devils looked good in Week One; Spartans did not (22%, 71 Votes)
- Arizona - 4.0-point underdog to Houston. Wildcats will bounce back against Cougars (22%, 69 Votes)
Start Date: September 6, 2018 @ 6:32 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
