Your interest in college football this weekend ...
- Medium. I'll keep track of results, and perhaps watch a game or two, but no obsessing this weekend (56%, 133 Votes)
- High. Even though the Buffs aren't playing, I love the sport, and enjoy every weekend (28%, 67 Votes)
- Low. When the Buffs have a bye week, I have a bye week. I'll get other stuff done, and catch up on results later (16%, 36 Votes)
Start Date: September 21, 2018 @ 7:11 pm

Settle a debate from the comments section: Yea or Nay on CU's gray uniforms
- Hate 'em. Dull coloring, and tough to read the numbers. Stick with the black and gold! (42%, 156 Votes)
- Like 'em. First time wearing gray/gray/black - cool looking and the players love them (33%, 121 Votes)
- Don't really care. Uniform combos are what they are (though I'm glad to see uniform-crazy Oregon will only use four combos this season) (25%, 94 Votes)
Start Date: September 20, 2018 @ 6:30 pm

Which Pac-12 favorite is most likely to cover the spread this weekend?
- Stanford - a 2.0-point favorite on the road over Oregon - Ducks finally face an opponent with a pulse (44%, 141 Votes)
- USC - a 3.5-point favorite over Washington State - Cougars exposed as a pretender Friday night (21%, 67 Votes)
- Arizona - a 6.0-point favorite on the road over Oregon State - Beavers won't contain Kahlil Tate (20%, 65 Votes)
- Washington - a 17.0-point favorite at home against Arizona State - the Herm Train slowing down (15%, 49 Votes)
Start Date: September 19, 2018 @ 5:48 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Is the bye week an advantage or disadvantage for Colorado?
- A push. Since the Bruins have a bye week at the same time, there is no advantage or disadvantage for either team (41%, 149 Votes)
- An advantage. The Buffs get time to heal, plus refocus for Pac-12 play. Coaches can reinforce that 3-0 doesn't mean anything if you go 2-7 in Pac-12 play (37%, 137 Votes)
- A disadvantage. The Buffs are on a roll, while the UCLA Bruins are struggling. A break gives the Bruins a chance to regroup and give CU a tougher game (22%, 80 Votes)
Start Date: September 18, 2018 @ 6:05 pm
End Date: No Expiry
In your personal Pac-12 "Power Rankings", where does Colorado fit?
- 4-6 ... With many of the Pac-12 teams playing poorly this September, the Buffs can certainly claim a spot in the top half of the conference (73%, 270 Votes)
- Top 3 - After Washington and Stanford, no team has played better so far this season (15%, 54 Votes)
- 7-9 ... With CSU and Nebraska down, we still don't know how good this team is. The Buffs opened 3-0 last year, and still didn't make a bowl game (13%, 47 Votes)
- 10-12 ... I'm a CSU/Nebraska troll, and I'm jealous of CU's 3-0 start (0%, 0 Votes)
Start Date: September 17, 2018 @ 5:52 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
