Will there be a hangover from the Oregon State game for the Buffs this Friday against Arizona?
  • We'll see. They say "don't let the same team beat you twice", but this will be a hard loss for the Buffs to put behind them (54%, 157 Votes)
  • Yes. There is no way that the loss will not have a negative impact this weekend ... and for the rest of the season (29%, 84 Votes)
  • No. These are 18-22 year-olds. They are much more resilient than their fans. They'll be ready to play this Friday (17%, 50 Votes)

Colorado opened as a four-point underdog to Arizona. Thoughts?
  • Too low. Arizona just put up 44 on Oregon, and held the Ducks to 15 points. That, and ... well, we know what happened in Boulder Saturday (60%, 170 Votes)
  • About right. The Pac-12 has been unpredictable all season, and neither 5-3 CU nor 4-5 Arizona have been consistent (37%, 105 Votes)
  • Too high. Arizona gets three points as the home team, and, over the course of the season, the Buffs have shown themselves to be the better team (3%, 7 Votes)

Your thoughts on the future of Mike MacIntyre at Colorado?
  • It may be time for MacIntyre to go, but I'm willing to give him four more games to prove that this program is moving in a positive direction (57%, 240 Votes)
  • The Buff Nation needs to take a deep breath. Yes, it was a terrible loss, but MacIntyre and this young (and talented) team needs our support (31%, 130 Votes)
  • Mike Mac needs to go - and now. Rick George needs to let the Recruiting Class of 2019 and CU fans know that the time has come for a change (12%, 54 Votes)

Colorado blows 31-3 leads, falls 41-34 in overtime to Oregon State
  • Three straight losses ... If this spirals out of control like last year, we'll be looking for a new coach in December (70%, 317 Votes)
  • I can't form an opinion right now, I'm just numb. After a restless night's sleep, I'll try and make sense of this and form an opinion (26%, 116 Votes)
  • It hurts, but it just goes to show that any team in the conference can beat any other team. Buffs get a shot at redemption next Friday (4%, 21 Votes)

Start Date: October 27, 2018 @ 5:40 pm

It's time! Your prediction for CU's Homecoming game against Oregon State
  • I can see a comfortable win, but perhaps not comfortable until the second half ... somewhat like the UCLA game (52%, 127 Votes)
  • A blowout, pure and simple. Oregon State is the worst team in the Pac-12, and CU will dominate from the start (34%, 82 Votes)
  • I'm worried about this game. If the Buffs don't come out with focus, it could turn into a one possession game in the fourth quarter ... and the Buffs could even lose (14%, 33 Votes)

Start Date: October 26, 2018 @ 1:08 pm
End Date: No Expiry

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
