What was your favorite win of the 2019 season?
- Nebraska. Two wins over the Corn are enough to help make the winter just a little shorter. Even better to take down Scott Frost a second time (77%, 265 Votes)
- Washington. First win over the Huskies since joining the Pac-12. The game will be the last loss for Chris Petersen ... until he decides to coach again (18%, 62 Votes)
- Stanford. Breaking a five-game losing streak was huge. A win that saved the season (3%, 10 Votes)
- Arizona State. First win over a ranked team on the road since 2002. Two wins in a row over Herm Edwards (2%, 7 Votes)
- Colorado State. Another rout; fifth win in a row in the series. Always a good day when the Buffs take it to the Lambs (0%, 1 Votes)

Which of the following would - to you - be a better Christmas present for the Buffs?
- That the football team wins eight games in the regular season and finish off a 9-4 campaign with a bowl win (69%, 188 Votes)
- That the basketball team not only makes it to the NCAA tournament, but wins the Pac-12 regular season title and Pac-12 tournament, then makes it to the Sweet Sixteen (31%, 85 Votes)

CU ranked No. 27 in the latest Associated Press and Coaches polls. Thoughts?
- Polls in college basketball have no value. All that matters is the bracketology lists, and how CU measures up come March (40%, 98 Votes)
- Actually, I like it. After a warm-up game against Iona, the Buffs open Pac-12 play against Oregon. All the more incentive to beat the Ducks (40%, 96 Votes)
- That stinks. Arizona has lost three of its last four games, but still remains ranked. Five other ranked teams have three losses - anti-CU bias continues (20%, 48 Votes)

Way too early first poll on CU quarterbacks: Who will be the starter in 2020?
- Freshman Brendon Lewis - CU coaches stuck with Montez because the backups didn't offer a better option. Lewis had 11,000+ yards of offense in high school. 'Nuff said (54%, 209 Votes)
- Sophomore Blake Stenstrom - He has been in the system for a year, and has a greater upside than does Lytle, and CU won't/shouldn't start a freshman. Did you see that 27-yard run against USC? (30%, 115 Votes)
- Junior Tyler Lytle - He has the most experience, and was first off the bench this past season. Coaches Tucker & Johnson will go with experience (16%, 60 Votes)

Buffs defeat No. 13 Dayton, 78-76, in overtime. Thoughts?
- HUGE win for the Buffs. This is the team we were looking for in the preseason. If the Buffs can play like this in Pac-12 play, they will be an NCAA tournament team! (68%, 222 Votes)
- This is the McKinley Wright (29 points; 10 rebounds) that CU needs if they are to be a factor come March. Enjoy the win - and then figure out how to repeat it in the Pac-12 opener against v. Oregon (21%, 69 Votes)
- A big win, Still, the Buffs won't be able to fall behind 19-5 too often and live to tell about it. There's still a great deal to be concerned about going forward (11%, 34 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
