Washington State hires Hawai'i coach Nick Rolovich as its new head coach. Thoughts?
- Not news. Mel Tucker & Co. are moving up the pecking order, while Washington State is on its way back down. Doesn't matter who the new coach is going to be going forward (77%, 213 Votes)
- Bad news. Rolovich and his run-and-shoot offense will make great use of WSU's arsenal of weapons, and Rolovich will keep Hawai'ian and Polynesian recruits from looking at CU as a destination (12%, 33 Votes)
- Good news. With all due respect to Rolovich, this is not a splash hire. CU knows all too well what can happen if you hire a Mountain West Conference coach with only G-5 success (11%, 32 Votes)

CU moves up from No. 25 to No. 20 in the latest AP poll. Thoughts?
- Buffs may have their best chance ever for a road sweep over the Arizona schools (U of A has lost 4-of-5; ASU 2-of-3). Get the job done, Buffs, and earn the national ranking! (54%, 131 Votes)
- Means nothing. Regular season polls in basketball mean even less than they do in football. Nice to get the national recognition, but it's January ... not March. (26%, 62 Votes)
- Love it! The goal this year is the Sweet Sixteen, and the Buffs are showing that they have the talent to make that dream a reality! (20%, 49 Votes)

No. 25 Colorado routs Utah. 91-52. Thoughts on the Buffs' dominating victory over the Utes? ?
- A nice win, but the Buffs have to string together consecutive strong performances. Win a pair on the road in Arizona next weekend - then we'll talk (40%, 141 Votes)
- THAT'S the team we have been waiting to see. A great team victory, with everyone contributing. Look out, Pac-12! (35%, 124 Votes)
- Having a week to let the Oregon State loss simmer probably helped this team. The Buffs opened with a 16-2 lead and never looked back. Fingers crossed that this will carry over to next weekend (25%, 89 Votes)

Which of the three Pac-12 South "hot seat" coaches will move on first?
- Arizona's Kevin Sumlin - Sumlin couldn't get anything out of Kahlil Tate, and recruiting has fallen off - that's a bad combination (49%, 123 Votes)
- USC's Clay Helton - Helton should have been gone this year, and even Mike Bohn won't be able to save Helton after a mediocre 2020 season (41%, 102 Votes)
- UCLA's Chip Kelly - Kelly may leave of his own volition, but after three straight losing seasons, the bloom will be off the Kelly rose (10%, 24 Votes)
Start Date: January 11, 2020 @ 7:26 pm

Athlon has only one Pac-12 team in its Way-Too-Early Top 25. Thoughts?
- Interesting that only two CU opponents (Oregon; Texas A&M) are ranked. The 2020 season is a season of opportunity for Tucker & Co. to make some noise in the Pac-12! (66%, 106 Votes)
- Pac-12 being disrespected - again. Oregon, Utah, Washington and USC are all Top 25-worthy teams. These rankings will change before September (19%, 31 Votes)
- Sounds about right. Oregon will reload with its last two Top 10 ranked recruiting Classes, while Utah, Washington and USC all have question marks heading into the fall (15%, 23 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
