Which of the post-game quotes from the Oregon game do you like the best?
- Tad Boyle: "I believe this team has a chance to do something special this year. It's only going to happen if we take every opportunity as they come" (54%, 124 Votes)
- McKinley Wright: "We believe in each other. When I say this I'm not just saying that to say, we are one of the best teams in the country for real" (28%, 63 Votes)
- D'Shawn Schwartz: "Love the crowd ... Not only do they intimidate the other team but they really get us going. We love giving back to the fans just as much they give to us" (18%, 41 Votes)

Which event Thursday will have the longest lasting impact?
- Four-star defensive end Jason Harris committing to CU. Not only does Harris have a tremendous upside, he made his announcement on national television to an audience of present and future recruits (60%, 178 Votes)
- CU 74, No. 4 Oregon 65. The win will put the Buffs back into the polls, gives the Buffs a great boost in their chances at an NCAA bid, and a legitimate shot at the Pac-12 title (40%, 119 Votes)
Start Date: January 3, 2020 @ 7:33 pm

Colorado 74, No. 4 Oregon 65. Thoughts?
- A commitment from four-star defensive end Jason Harris and a win over the Ducks on the same day? I think I'm going to like the 2020's!! Keep it coming, Buffs!! (62%, 287 Votes)
- A GREAT WIN!! The Buffs have proven to the pundits, the Pac-12, and the bracketologists that they are heading to the NCAA tournament!! (21%, 99 Votes)
- An important victory, but as Tad Boyle said - "If we win this one, you don't get extra credit". The most important game now is Oregon State on Sunday (17%, 77 Votes)
Start Date: January 2, 2020 @ 10:03 pm

No. 26 Colorado v. No. 4 Oregon (Thursday, 7:00 p.m., ESPN2). Prediction?
- Buffs have been gunning for this game since it was announced. Buffs take down Ducks before a packed house at the CU Events Center (53%, 146 Votes)
- The Buffs are better, and played a great game against Dayton, but I foresee a close (and frustrating) loss (24%, 67 Votes)
- No. 4 Oregon has wins over No. 13 Memphis, No. 13 Seton Hall and No. 5 Michigan. The Ducks won't be intimidated by the setting, and (unfortunately) will handle turnover-prone CU with relative ease (23%, 63 Votes)
Start Date: January 1, 2020 @ 7:25 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What Boulder Daily Camera second-team all-decade player deserves to be on the first team?
- Cornerback Isaiah Oliver - Good enough to be selected in the second round of the NFL Draft despite foregoing his senior season. Worth a $4.3 million contract to the Atlanta Falcons (54%, 108 Votes)
- Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon - Deserves to be first team based on his interception in the 2016 Oregon game alone (22%, 43 Votes)
- Offensive lineman Tim Lynott, Jr. - In an under-performing line, Lynott was a consistent performer for four years (14%, 27 Votes)
- Quarterback Steven Montez - Despite his faults, he is the all-time leading passer in CU history, not just the past decade (10%, 21 Votes)
Start Date: December 31, 2019 @ 8:08 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
