Offensive lineman Akinola Ogunbiyi and defensive back Tawfiq Byard the latest transfers to join the Herd. Thoughts?
- These are two solid pickups, and in positions where depth is always a plus. Ogunbiyi comes from a top-level program (Alabama), while Byard has three years of eligibility remaining (46%, 93 Votes)
- Way too early to know, much less care, about these transfers. CU has a dozen transfers on its list, with another dozen (or two) to come. Wake me when the roster is finalized in August (44%, 89 Votes)
- Not super excited, to be honest. Ogunbiyi is coming in with one year to play after being a career backup, while Byard was a fair-to-middling safety for a fair-to-middling program (USF) (10%, 19 Votes)

Rate your level of interest in bowl games involving other Big 12 teams
- Medium. I like college football, and if there is a team which is tangentially related to my Buffs, it adds a little extra spice to the games I'm watching (50%, 80 Votes)
- Low. These teams will be completely redone over the off-season, so trying to glean any extra information from bowl season is folly. They're just exhibition games at this point (36%, 58 Votes)
- High. Many of the Big 12 bowl opponents will be CU opponents in 2025. Never to early to start thinking about next season, and the level of competition CU will be facing (14%, 22 Votes)

The best news coming out of San Antonio, now that the Buffs are in town for the Alamo Bowl
- Coach Prime's quote: “The purpose is to win the game. It’s like the main course. The appetizers are all the other stuff. We’re here to win this football game” (41%, 73 Votes)
- CU’s live mascot, Ralphie, will be on hand for the Alamo Bowl and is planning to do a pregame run on Saturday night. Great way to get the CU crowd (and players) up for the game - Run, Ralphie, Run! (35%, 63 Votes)
- That CU has disability insurance for players in case of injury: “We wanted to ensure that if something were to happen, that (all the players) would be covered" (24%, 42 Votes)

Which of Shedeur's CU passing records to you is the most impressive?
- His 74.2% completion percentage, which led the nation. His completion percentage bested the school records by 5% ... a 69.3% completion rate - that Shedeur set last year! (57%, 168 Votes)
- His 62 career touchdown passes. While not a record yet (Steven Montez and Cody Hawkins had 62), Shedeur got to the career mark in only two seasons in Boulder (24%, 72 Votes)
- His 3,926 passing yards this season. The previous record (3,527, by Koy Detmer in 1996) is almost 30 years old. With one game to go, Sanders will become CU's first 4,000-yard passer (19%, 57 Votes)

Rate your interest level in the first round of the College Football Playoffs
- Medium. As a college football fan, I will certainly be paying attention to the playoffs, but without CU in the mix, my interest is certainly diminished to a degree (52%, 159 Votes)
- High. This is what we have waiting for (and begging for) for years. It's exciting to have 12 teams alive for the national title in late December. Sit back and enjoy! (35%, 105 Votes)
- Low. It's all about the money. Money for the networks, the conferences, the schools, and now the players. It's sad to see what college football has become, and I'm not spending my time on it (13%, 39 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
