How would you rate your level of concern over the wide receiver roster heading into spring practices, 2022?
- Medium. Sure, there was some talent lost, but the wide receiver room has been one of the deepest on the team for years. Plug in RJ Sneed and give the returning players a chance to shine (41%, 82 Votes)
- Low. It appears that the players who want to be on the team are still on the roster. Figure out the quarterback situation (and get the offensive line to improve), and this group will shine this fall (39%, 79 Votes)
- High. You don't lose talents like Brenden Rice, Dimitri Stanley, and La'Vontae Shenault without taking a step back ... and this unit underperformed with those players on the roster (20%, 40 Votes)

Survey of 1,000 high school football players: CU's brand No. 57 out of 66 Power Five schools. Thoughts?
- This survey should be posted in every coaches office. It's going to take some significant effort on the recruiting trail to bring CU back to relevance. Get to work, gentlemen! (47%, 85 Votes)
- It's probably accurate, and an indictment of how far Colorado has fallen in the eyes of recruits. Buff fans remember better days, but recruits haven't seen much from the program in their lifetimes (44%, 80 Votes)
- Means nothing. It's just a survey, without any information about how the survey was conducted. It's spring, and there isn't much to talk about until spring ball starts. Nothing to see here (9%, 17 Votes)

With CU not part of the field of 68 in the NCAA tournament this year, rate your level of interest in the Big Dance compared to last year
- Low. I'm not really into college basketball. Sure, I will make note of how the games are going, but, without CU in the tournament, my interest is definitely lower than it was last year (36%, 75 Votes)
- High. I love March Madness. I love the upsets; I love filling out my brackets. Whether CU is playing or not, my interest in March Madness is always high (35%, 72 Votes)
- Medium. There are a number of interesting storylines for this season's tournament, and there will be upsets. I would be more excited if CU were playing, but I will be watching (29%, 60 Votes)

Should sophomore Jabari Walker forego his final two seasons at CU and turn pro?
- TBD. Walker's father played in the pros, so he knows the upside - and the risk - of leaving early. If the scouts see him as a first round pick, there's no reason to stay (52%, 135 Votes)
- No. While announcers talked about Walker's bright future, they also often said he could use another year improving his game. If he leaves now, he may not be drafted (45%, 115 Votes)
- Yes. Every announcer of CU games this season has talked about how Walker has the length and talent to make it in the NBA. Sorry to see him go, but it's time (3%, 8 Votes)

You're way-too-early pick for CU's starting quarterback for the 2022 season would be:
- J.T. Shrout. He was locked in a battle for the starting position before injuring his knee last August. The Buff offense needs a fresh start, and Shrout can allow CU to start '22 with a clean slate (40%, 80 Votes)
- The field - transfer Maddox Kopp; freshmen Oakie Salave'a; Owen McCown, or even a transfer after spring practices. Way too many moving parts in March to predict the September 2nd starter (31%, 61 Votes)
- Brendon Lewis: He is the incumbent, and, even though there is a new offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach in Mike Sanford, Lewis will be the pick to continue as starter (29%, 57 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
