- The offensive line ... lack of protection for Liufau; running game stalled (54%, 155 Votes)
- The loss of linebackers Gillam and Olugbode ... an exploitable weakness (24%, 69 Votes)
- QB Sefo Liufau ... his inconsistency has cost the Buffs (20%, 57 Votes)

The line on the ASU game has moved from 12.5- to 15.0-points
- Hate to say it, but I'd take ASU and give the points. I just don't see CU staying competitive (67%, 197 Votes)
- Take CU and the points. The Buffs are getting better, and the Sun Devils are erratic (27%, 80 Votes)
- I would take the Buffs outright. The Sun Devils will overlook the win-starved Buffs, and CU come home with a "W" (6%, 18 Votes)

CU to play ASU without LB's Addison Gillam and Kenneth Olugbode
- Buffs without two leading tacklers from past two years? CU can't catch a break (50%, 150 Votes)
- Silver lining ... I guess I'll be able to get to bed earlier Saturday night. This could be over early (25%, 77 Votes)
- Next man up. CU's defensive depth is better than in previous seasons (25%, 76 Votes)

What do the Buffs need to work on most for the game against Arizona State?
- Offensive line. Without a running game and pass protection, nothing else works (54%, 157 Votes)
- Their own psyche. Buffs often can't seem to get out of their own way. Just play! (31%, 91 Votes)
- Defensive line. If the Buffs get gashed again, the game will get out of hand early (15%, 42 Votes)

- That Utah, which joined the Pac-12 with CU, is undefeated and No. 5 in the nation (33%, 102 Votes)
- That Oregon beat CU by 17 points ... and dropped out of the coaches' poll (18%, 57 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
