The line of the CU game at No. 24 UCLA has moved up to 21 points
  • About right. CU will have its moments, but they will be too little and too late to keep up with UCLA (56%, 154 Votes)
  • Too high. CU took UCLA to two overtimes last year, and is better this year (32%, 89 Votes)
  • Too low. A road game against an explosive offense? Not a good recipe for the Buffs (12%, 32 Votes)

Thoughts on the CU/Stanford game kicking off at 11:00 a.m., MT?
  • Makes no difference to me. If the Buffs want a better time slot, they'll have to start winning some games (50%, 135 Votes)
  • Fine with me. A 10:00 a.m. kickoff for the Cardinal ... maybe the Buffs can get off to a quick start (30%, 80 Votes)
  • Hate it. No time for tailgating, and the student section will be as quiet (and empty) as a church (20%, 53 Votes)

Will the Pac-12 be the left out of the College Football Playoffs?
  • Yes. The Pac-12 champ will have at least two losses, and will have to "settle" for the Rose Bowl (40%, 108 Votes)
  • It's too early to tell. The first CFP poll won't even come out until next week (34%, 92 Votes)
  • No. I'm betting Stanford or Utah will win out and make the playoffs (26%, 69 Votes)

The best part of the CU win over Oregon State ...
  • That the Buffs ended long-standing Pac-12 losing streaks, both on the road and overall (56%, 179 Votes)
  • That the CU defense made the lead stand up in the fourth quarter, and gave up only 13 points overall (33%, 105 Votes)
  • That Colorado is no longer seen as the basement dweller in the Pac-12 (11%, 37 Votes)

Start Date: October 25, 2015 @ 10:43 pm

CU ends Pac-12 road losing streak with 17-13 win over Oregon State
  • Let's not get too excited. CU has now won two conference games in their last 30 tries (40%, 154 Votes)
  • I don't care. Let's worry about tomorrow tomorrow. Just enjoy the win! (38%, 147 Votes)
  • Shoulder to Shoulder! Perhaps this is the break through win we've been waiting for! Something to build on for the last five games (22%, 83 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
