My current concern level over losing a coach to another school:
- Medium. Until the NFL firings (and subsequent musical chairs they inspire) have passed, I'll be nervous (41%, 161 Votes)
- High. It's the nature of the business, and CU has the Pac-12's lowest paid coaching staff (35%, 139 Votes)
- Low. The high profile coaching jobs have been filled. It looks likes we dodged a bullet this year (24%, 97 Votes)
Start Date: December 11, 2016 @ 6:17 pm
End Date: No Expiry
My choice for CU's top play of the year
- Ahkello Witherspoon's interception to win the game over Oregon (53%, 138 Votes)
- Bryce Bobo's acrobatic game-winning touchdown catch against Oregon (27%, 72 Votes)
- Other ... You didn't list my favorite (9%, 24 Votes)
- Isaiah Oliver's 68-yard punt return against UCLA (6%, 15 Votes)
- Phillip Lindsay's 13-yard touchdown run over and through Washington State's defense (5%, 13 Votes)
Start Date: December 10, 2016 @ 5:50 pm
End Date: No Expiry
The most impressive (non-Sefo Liufau) individual record from 2016:
- Steven Montez - Most consecutive completions in a game: 14 (tied existing record) (60%, 166 Votes)
- Phillip Lindsay - Most receptions in a game by a running back, 11 (old record: 9) (22%, 61 Votes)
- Shay Fields - Most touchdown receptions, half: 3 (old record: 2) (18%, 49 Votes)
Start Date: December 9, 2016 @ 3:43 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Will the CU men's basketball team make the NCAA tournament?
- Probably. There are still concerns, but Tad will have this group rounded into form come March (60%, 185 Votes)
- Maybe. The Buffs still have work to do to get the CSU debacle behind them (22%, 68 Votes)
- Definitely. The win over No. 13 Xavier shows what this team is capable of - Buffs are going dancing (18%, 54 Votes)
Start Date: December 8, 2016 @ 5:00 pm
End Date: No Expiry
CU assistants lowest paid in the Pac-12. Level of concern:
- Medium. I'm confident this will be addressed, but it would be nice to have confirmation from Rick George (49%, 185 Votes)
- High. This needs to be addressed immediately, before CU loses some of its coaches (42%, 160 Votes)
- Low. These are 2016 salaries, which reflect the pre-Pac-12 South title. Only news if CU is last next year (9%, 36 Votes)
Start Date: December 7, 2016 @ 5:15 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
