How will the Buffs fare in the desert this weekend?
- 0-2 - The way the Buffs are playing right now, they would struggle with Northern Arizona (51%, 133 Votes)
- 1-1 - I can see a win over Arizona State, but no chance at a win over Arizona (43%, 112 Votes)
- 2-0 - After a week away from Boulder with no distractions, Buffs come together and sweep the Arizona schools (6%, 14 Votes)
Start Date: January 4, 2017 @ 2:15 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Where will CU end up in the final polls?
- In the 15-20 range - Buffs will drop, but other teams lost their bowl games as well (65%, 240 Votes)
- In the 20-25 range - You can't lose by 30 points and not expect to drop like a stone (32%, 118 Votes)
- Just outside the poll - Buffs have yet to re-establish themselves as a national program, and will drop out (3%, 12 Votes)
Start Date: January 3, 2017 @ 1:47 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Will the 10-4 CU men's basketball team make the NCAA tournament?
- No. The Buffs have played poorly most of the season. An 0-5 start to Pac-12 play not out of the question (54%, 184 Votes)
- Maybe. Still over half the season to go. We'll see if the Buffs can get their act together (40%, 138 Votes)
- Yes. Don't give up on Tad - he can get this lineup to the Big Dance (6%, 20 Votes)
Start Date: January 2, 2017 @ 12:47 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Cornerbacks coach Charles Clark hired by Oregon
- Good teams lose coaches every season. Take it as another sign of #TheRise, and move on (41%, 119 Votes)
- Why does it have to be Oregon? Rick George needs to get some extensions and raises done - and now! (37%, 107 Votes)
- Hate it! Once again, CU shown to be nothing more than a feeder school for schools with greater resources (22%, 65 Votes)
Start Date: January 1, 2017 @ 3:35 pm
End Date: No Expiry
My way too early prediction for CU's 2017 season
- Probably a 8-9 win season, as the Buffs slide back some on defense with eight starters graduating (59%, 163 Votes)
- A minor bowl game, with the Buffs needing November wins to earn bowl eligibility (34%, 94 Votes)
- Another 10+ win season, another trip to the Pac-12 title game. The #TheRiseContinues! (7%, 19 Votes)
Start Date: December 31, 2016 @ 12:49 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
