Your level of interest in the Poinsettia and Famous Idaho Potato Bowls
- Low. Are you kidding? Even the names of the bowls are a punch line (53%, 178 Votes)
- Medium. Always like to keep an eye on what CU's 2017 first game opponent is up to (34%, 115 Votes)

Stanford's Christian McCaffrey to skip Sun Bowl to prepare for the NFL
- I can understand it with a player like McCaffrey, but it's setting a bad precedent for the future (38%, 124 Votes)

Thoughts on the commitment of 2018 quarterback Blake Stenstrom
- Good news. It's still 14 months to his Signing Day, and he could still defect if his father's school (Stanford) offers (45%, 159 Votes)
- Excellent news! A quality recruit at a key position. Glad to get him locked in early! (33%, 117 Votes)
- Not news. You realize he's just a junior, and was a backup this season? (22%, 80 Votes)

What to make of CU's 8-3 start:
- Ugly. The Buffs' play has been "atrocious". Pac-12 openers v. Utah, Arizona schools and L.A. schools could lead to a 1-4 start (56%, 176 Votes)
- An NIT season, but we do have the women's team, which is 10-0 and nationally ranked (24%, 77 Votes)
- Not concerned. It's still non-conference play, and the Buffs still have time to figure things out. In Tad we trust! (20%, 63 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
