Rate CU's chances of victory against USC ...
  • About the same as Stanford, which is to say the Buffs will have to play a perfect game Friday to have a chance to win (48%, 147 Votes)
  • Better than against Stanford. The Buffs match up better, and the Trojans are not as good as the Cardinal (36%, 111 Votes)
  • Worse than Stanford. Hate to say it, but it looks like the Buffs have given up on the season, and USC is rolling (16%, 50 Votes)

What I am taking from the 42-10 loss to No. 9 Stanford
  • That the Buffs have made progress, but there is still a wide gap between CU and the top teams in the Pac-12 (62%, 173 Votes)
  • That the Buffs are regressing to past form, and have three routs coming to end the season (33%, 93 Votes)
  • That the Buffs stayed with the No. 9 team in the nation for the first 28 minutes (5%, 14 Votes)

  • "The Tree Falls! CU puts together a complete game in taking down No. 9 Stanford" (32%, 63 Votes)

Will the early starting time help or hurt the Buffs?
  • Neither. After kickoff, the time of day will be irrelevant (55%, 104 Votes)
  • It will help. As hard as it is for the CU players, it will be 10:00 a.m. for the Stanford players (29%, 54 Votes)
  • It will hurt. It will cut down on attendance, and the student section will be empty (16%, 31 Votes)

  1. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  2. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  3. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
