Which of the following quotes from The Athletic article on CU Class of 2024 do you like the best?
- O'Neil on Coach Prime: "Just being around him and knowing his connections were great, but he has a need to win. That’s the big sell for me. It’s a need to win, not a want to" (52%, 76 Votes)
- Danny O'Neil: "I want to bring in guys who can play. Nothing was promised to me. It wasn’t. I’m going to come in and compete and try to lead this team in two years" (31%, 45 Votes)
- 247 analyst Allen Trieu on O'Neil: "They’re valuing his intangibles. They’re valuing the locker room product and the kind of pedigree that he comes from and, of course, the high school production" (17%, 25 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from ESPN's front page article on the first 100 days of the Prime Era do you like the best?
- Coach Prime: "I'm a navigational system that's trying to get you to where you want to go ... We know where we're going, we've been there and we know exactly how to get there" (47%, 89 Votes)
- Coach Prime: "I'm a need-to-be-needed type person ... There's a tremendous need [at Colorado], and I don't just think it's all about football. It far surpasses football on the field" (38%, 72 Votes)
- Alexis Williams, a senior associate athletic director who oversees ticket sales: "Our sales team, they can't even make an outgoing call with the calls coming in" (15%, 30 Votes)

Just asking: There is plenty of video content with the advent of the Coach Prime era. Do you watch the videos? Should there be a separate banner just for new video?
- Yes, I do watch many of the videos, and find them to be fun and informative. If it would mean getting more videos to watch, go ahead and make a separate heading (46%, 121 Votes)
- I may watch some of the videos, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to have them in a separate heading so that I can check out the videos when I want to, but can also avoid them when I'm not in the mood (44%, 115 Votes)
- No, I don't watch most of the videos. I would prefer that you just stick to written stories with notes and quotes about CU's football spring practices (10%, 25 Votes)

CU receives a commitment from three-star quarterback Danny O'Neil. Thoughts?
- I guess I'm getting spoiled. A year ago (okay, a few months ago), I would have been excited about a commit with a dozen Power Five offers. Now? That seems pretty average ... It's a brave new world! (35%, 88 Votes)
- Great pickup! They say it's always better to have your Class quarterback lined up, as it sets the tone for the entire Class. Plus he has a great scouting report - What's not to like? (35%, 88 Votes)
- We certainly have to trust the coaching staff, but O'Neil is only 6'1, 183-pounds. I'm guessing his relationship with offensive coordinator (former Kent State HC) Sean Lewis was a deciding factor (30%, 73 Votes)

CU finishes the 2022-23 season with an 18-17 record and a second round NIT loss to Utah Valley. Is it time to move on from Coach Boyle?
- Coach Tad is CU's all-time leading winner, has 9 of CU's 13 all-time 20-win seasons, and more post-season wins than all other CU coaches COMBINED. This is the Golden Age of CU basketball, folks (53%, 163 Votes)
- Coach Tad has one of the top ten recruits in the nation coming in next year. He deserves at least one more season to see what he can do with a one-and-done prospect (43%, 132 Votes)
- That's one NCAA tournament appearance since 2016. Tad Boyle has certainly raised the floor for CU basketball, but there also appears to be a ceiling. It may be time to move on from the Boyle era (4%, 14 Votes)

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
