Five-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton commits to CU. Thoughts?
- Great news! Coach Prime has brought in more five-star players than all of the other CU coaches in the last two decades combined. Well done, Coach Prime! (72%, 252 Votes)
- I'm just glad to have it over with, and glad to have the naysayers put back in their place. The negative social media was getting out of hand - nice to give the naysayers a smile and a wave (16%, 57 Votes)
- Glad that Seaton committed, but I could have done without all the extra drama. He should have just signed his Letter of Intent on Wednesday and been done with it (12%, 39 Votes)

Colorado emerges from December 20th Signing Day with only five signed Letters of Intent from the freshman Class. Rate your level of concern:
- Low. CU just signed the most four-star players in school history, and many of those will be able to start in 2024. Do we want to win, or do we want to appease the naysayers? (59%, 199 Votes)
- Medium. I understand that the Transfer Portal is the way to overhaul the roster, but this is too extreme. Coach Prime has to keep an eye on the future, especially in developing linemen (28%, 93 Votes)
- High. This is difficult to fathom. I can understand having smaller freshmen classes, but "smaller" should 12-15 members. Is Coach Prime having trouble recruiting freshmen? (13%, 45 Votes)

What grade would you give the CU Recruiting Class of 2024 (so far)?
- An A ... How soon we forget how bad it was before Coach Prime. Ten four-star commitments (and counting) - we are in a brave new world of competing with the blue bloods for recruits (43%, 172 Votes)
- A B ... Some very good prospects, and the coaching staff certainly addressed needs along both lines, but the lack of a Signing Day surprise diluted some of my enthusiasm for Signing Day, 2023 (38%, 152 Votes)
- A C ... Coach Prime had a full year to recruit this Class, but came home with a Class ranked lower than the one they put together in three weeks a year ago. A decent Class, but not what we hoped for (19%, 78 Votes)

CU announces deals for five future non-conference games, giving the Buffs seven home games in three of the next five seasons. Thoughts?
- Like this. The rest of the college football world has seven or eight home games every season. Glad to see CU finally trying to get an advantage for wins and bowl bids (that everyone else already has) (59%, 163 Votes)
- We may not like it, but if CU is going to have a seat at the big boy table later this decade, CU needs to be relevant nationally ... and as long as Coach Prime is in town, CU will sell tickets (31%, 86 Votes)
- Not a fan. Coach Mac I said that if you want to be the best, you have to play the best. Not putting Delaware and Northern Colorado in that category. Seems like CU is selling out and paying for wins (10%, 29 Votes)
Start Date: December 19, 2023 @ 6:47 pm
End Date: No Expiry
CU loses two offensive line commits in one day; one to academics, the other to the Duck$ of Oregon. Thoughts?
- Yes, CU is in desperate need of offensive line help, but there is still plenty of time to get more commits (and CU wrestled five-star OL Jordan Seaton away from the Ducks, so it's all good) (45%, 125 Votes)
- The loss of Walker is what it is - we don't know if the academic issues were on his side or CU's. But losing Bedford to Uncle Phil and Nike U. is harder to take (32%, 88 Votes)
- Not a good day. Issiah Walker was one of the highest-rated offensive line junior college prospects, and Bedford was a four-year starter at Indiana. Tough to lose these two (23%, 66 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
