Class of '25 quarterback commit A.J. Hill commits; Tight ends coach Tim Brewster resigns. Which is the bigger story?
- Neither. Hill was committed for what? A month? He'll be doing the dance for the next 13 months. Brewster had already been demoted, so the resignation is not a surprise, either (65%, 186 Votes)
- Class of 2025 quarterback commit A.J. Hill decommitting hurts. He was a big time get, and one to build a Recruiting Class around. I hope after he shops around, he'll come back to CU (30%, 87 Votes)
- Tight ends coach Tim Brewster resigning. An old school fire brand, Brewster wasn't getting through to the team, and CU tight ends were again largely a non-factor. Move makes sense (5%, 13 Votes)

Utah 23, Colorado 17. Thoughts?
- It's been a helluva ride. Wins over rivals Nebraska and CSU, then five one-score losses to sour the season. The 2024 season begins today - Go Buffs! I still believe!! (46%, 141 Votes)
- A freshman quarterback and nothing to play for ... I'm proud of how well the Buffs played. If not for a few calls against them, and a few penalties, the Buffs could have beaten the Utes on the road (37%, 113 Votes)
- You are what your record says you are, and the Buffs 4-8, with a seven-game losing streak to end the season. I hope Coach Prime starts working on coaching, instead of self-promotion (17%, 54 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Colorado at Utah (Saturday, 1:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks)
- It looked to me that the Buffs gave up in the second half against Washington State. Without or without Shedeur, this will be a Utah rout (39%, 73 Votes)
- May sound strange, but I have a feeling that the Buffs could pull this one off. Utah is unranked, struggling, and disinterested. Buffs have a reason to finish strong. CU in an upset! (32%, 61 Votes)
- This will be a low scoring game. Neither team has much to play for, and it will be cold. Clock keeps running as Utah slowly pulls away ... but Buffs beat 20.5-point spread (29%, 54 Votes)

Which of the following Pac-12 games this weekend for you holds the most interest?
- No. 16 Oregon State at No. 6 Oregon (Friday, 6:30 p.m., MT, Fox). The Ducks are heavily favored, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Beavers make this interesting (71%, 142 Votes)
- Washington Sate at No. 4 Washington (2:00 p.m., MT, Fox). It won't be the last Apple Cup, but it will be the Cougars chance to derail the Huskies' College Football Playoff hopes (23%, 45 Votes)
- No. 15 Arizona at Arizona State (Saturday, 1:30 p.m., MT, ESPN). If Oregon State beats Oregon, Arizona can earn a berth in the Pac-12 title game. Plus, watching ASU get routed is always fun (6%, 13 Votes)

Which quote from Coach Prime's press conference to you like the best?
- "We accomplished what we needed. I think hope is instilled tremendously in this city, in this student-body, within this team, this building, and you see the direction we're headed" (48%, 85 Votes)
- "Philosophy going into recruiting... we want players that want us. Trying to convince somebody or being held hostage financially, we're not into that". CU still about the NFL, not the NIL (45%, 80 Votes)
- "Shedeur is not feeling well right now. It is a day-by-day situation with Shedeur. We're hoping and praying he will be able to play" - If the Buffs are going to have a chance, Shedeur needs to play (7%, 12 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
