When CU obtains a commitment from an unrated player, while Pac-12 rivals are getting four-star commits ...
- It gives me pause, but I understand what Embree and Co. are building here. (41%, 95 Votes)
- It makes me very nervous for the future. (30%, 70 Votes)
- It makes no difference to me. Check back in four years and see how these players are doing. (29%, 68 Votes)

CU has had no new commitments in two weeks, and will host only a handful of visitors this weekend
- A little concerned. One big splash soon would sure help (52%, 106 Votes)
- Truth hurts. Buff Nation needs to accept the realities of a 3-10 season. (26%, 53 Votes)
- Not worried. Plenty of time to snag great recruits. Patience! (22%, 43 Votes)

Outside of the "Big Three", the Pac-12 team most likely to be ranked in 2012
- Washington. Sarkisian accumulating talent, ready to break through. (50%, 104 Votes)
- Utah. Easy schedule; 18 returning starters. (20%, 41 Votes)

My prediction for the number of four/five star recruits CU will sign ...
- One or two - More to come in years to come, but not this year. (64%, 143 Votes)
- Zero - Ten losses in 2011; six straight losing seasons. CU's reality. (32%, 72 Votes)
- Three or more - CU "flipped" eight players last year. It ain't over 'till it's over! (4%, 8 Votes)
Start Date: January 9, 2012 @ 9:03 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Several recruits, committed to other schools, will be visiting CU ...
- "If we can just get them to Boulder" ... At least CU has a shot, right? (81%, 224 Votes)
- A commitment is a commitment. There is no benefit to paying for a recruit who has no interest in CU (12%, 34 Votes)
- Let them have their fun. A few weekends being treated like royalty? What's wrong with that? (7%, 19 Votes)
Start Date: January 8, 2012 @ 11:19 am
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
