CU falls to Seattle, 72-65, in the CBI
- A typical CU game: No consistency on offense; no perimeter defense. Pathetic (45%, 101 Votes)
- I'm just glad it's finally over. I, for one, am happy to move on and not have to talk about the 2014-15 season ... ever again! (39%, 87 Votes)
- It was still a good investment. Two extra games of experience and film to work on over the summer (16%, 35 Votes)
Start Date: March 23, 2015 @ 10:06 pm
End Date: No Expiry
My prediction for CU's game tonight at Seattle ...
- Buffs bigger, stronger, faster than Redhawks. CU starts slow, but pulls away in the second half (60%, 100 Votes)
- A struggle throughout. Even though the crowd is all of 999, the Buffs are forced to work hard for a close victory (31%, 52 Votes)
- CU can't win on the road, and Seattle is motivated - a bad combination. Loss No. 18 ends the Buffs' season (9%, 14 Votes)
Start Date: March 23, 2015 @ 8:34 am
End Date: No Expiry
Pac-12 opened post-season play with a combined 10-0 record
- Great for the league (and CU) that the Pac-12 began undefeated in the NCAA, NIT, and CBI tournaments (70%, 115 Votes)
- Nice to see the wins ... but this won't make it any easier for the Buffs to bounce back in 2015-16 (18%, 29 Votes)
- Glad CU won its game, but I'm still hard-pressed to cheer for UCLA/Oregon/Utah/Arizona et al. (12%, 21 Votes)
Start Date: March 22, 2015 @ 10:11 am
End Date: No Expiry
My plans for CU at Seattle (Monday, 8:00 p.m., MT)
- I'll check in for the results on Tuesday morning (48%, 64 Votes)
- I will be watching the live stream on my computer or listening on the radio (35%, 46 Votes)
- What? Wait a second ... CU is still playing? (14%, 18 Votes)
- I'll be there ... crammed into an arena with a capacity of 1,000! (3%, 5 Votes)
Start Date: March 21, 2015 @ 9:58 am
End Date: No Expiry
Best basketball news of the last few days ...
- Colorado defeats Gardner-Webb to prolong its season, with young players getting some quality playing time (49%, 119 Votes)
- CSU stumbles as a No. 1 seed in NIT, falling to the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State (27%, 67 Votes)
- That there have been so many close games in the first days of the NCAA tournament (24%, 58 Votes)
Start Date: March 19, 2015 @ 7:05 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
