Which Pac-12 game this weekend is the most interesting?
- Cal at Arizona - Since the Buffs play the Bears next weekend (57%, 145 Votes)
- Utah at Michigan - To see which team is a pretender (30%, 78 Votes)
- Oregon at Washington State - To see if Mike Leach's offense can keep pace with the Ducks (7%, 17 Votes)
- San Diego State at Oregon State - Since the Beavers are the next home opponent (6%, 16 Votes)

CU is a touchdown favorite over Hawai'i ...
- Take CU and give the points. The Buffs are on the upswing, and will take care of business against the Warriors (50%, 144 Votes)
- Nice to be a favorite, but I have no idea if the Buffs will win, much less by more than seven points (45%, 129 Votes)
- Take Hawai'i and the points. CU has been a favorite twice this season - and is 0-2 against the spread in those games (5%, 15 Votes)

My pick to win the Pac-12 South is ...
- UCLA ... Despite the injury to QB Brett Hundley (38%, 107 Votes)
- USC ... Even though the Trojans lost to BC (34%, 95 Votes)
- Colorado ... Why not us? (15%, 43 Votes)
- Arizona State ... Despite the injury to QB Taylor Kelly (9%, 24 Votes)
- Utah ... If Travis Wilson can stay healthy (2%, 7 Votes)
- Arizona ... Because the other schools have issues (2%, 5 Votes)
Start Date: September 15, 2014 @ 7:09 pm

My revised prediction for CU's 2014 record:
- Four wins. The same 4-8 record as last year, against better competition (45%, 157 Votes)
- Three wins or less. This response got 65% of the vote last week, so it must be right! (26%, 90 Votes)
- Five wins. I'm still seeing improvement, and feel this is the best the Buffs can do (19%, 65 Votes)
- Six or more wins and a bowl bid! Despite the loss to ASU, I remain a believer! (10%, 35 Votes)
Start Date: September 14, 2014 @ 7:13 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What I am taking from the 38-24 loss to No. 16 Arizona State
- That CU is a team on the rise, a team which will compete (and win) in the Pac-12 this season (48%, 154 Votes)
- That there is such a thing as a moral victory, and this was one of those (34%, 111 Votes)
- That CU is only consistent in starting slow and making too many mistakes to win, dooming the Buffs to another lost season (18%, 57 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
