Buffs even Pac-12 record with a 56-55 win over Stanford
- Well, considering Utah and UCLA are 0-2 (and Oregon 0-1), I'm okay with the first weekend's results (52%, 116 Votes)
- Road victories are rare in Pac-12 play. This win will help the Buffs considerably in tournament seeding (39%, 86 Votes)
- A team averaging in the 80's in non-conference is averaging 60 in Pac-12 play. Scoring issues will plague this team all spring (9%, 19 Votes)

Buffs lose to Bears in Berkeley, 78-65
- Different year; same results. Buffs can't throw it in the ocean on the road. We're in for another tough few months (47%, 111 Votes)
- No reason to panic. It's an 18-game Pac-12 schedule, and Cal is a good team (37%, 88 Votes)
- It wouldn't hurt so bad if Stanford hadn't upset Utah. Looks like an 0-2 Bay area weekend coming (16%, 39 Votes)

How will the Buffs fare this weekend in the Bay Area?
- CU lost to Cal at home last year ... I predict a split, with the Buffs winning against the Cardinal (48%, 91 Votes)
- The Buffs only two losses were to ranked teams. I foresee a road sweep of Cal and Stanford (40%, 75 Votes)
- The Buffs were only two and seven on the road in Pac-12 last year ... I wouldn't be surprised by an 0-2 start this year (12%, 23 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
