Are you concerned that Arizona is a "trap" game for the Buffs?
  • No. This senior-laden team has tried to go "1-0" each week. This game is no different (41%, 173 Votes)
  • Maybe ... but then again, I stress about every Buff game (39%, 166 Votes)
  • Yes. Arizona is playing at home with nothing to lose, while the Buffs have two big home games pending (20%, 85 Votes)

  • Great news. With games against ranked teams coming up, Buffs could be a factor in the national race (34%, 141 Votes)

Your interest in the CU's first basketball game this Friday ...
  • Medium. The warm up games are not very appealing. The trip to Brooklyn (Texas/Notre Dame) will spark my interest (43%, 153 Votes)
  • High. The Buffs are going to have another great season. I can't wait for Boyle's Boys to get the season underway. (34%, 120 Votes)

CU listed as a 14-point favorite over Arizona
  • About right. A two-score win is likely, but it's still a road game against a motivated opponent (66%, 272 Votes)
  • Too low. The Wildcats have lost six straight and got bombed, 69-3, by Washington State (17%, 70 Votes)
  • Too high. The Buffs have only scored two touchdowns the past two games - I'm concerned (17%, 69 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
