What did you take from the Buffs' 1-1 split in Brooklyn?
- The win over No. 22 Texas was a good omen. The Buffs "can play with anybody" (50%, 133 Votes)
- I have no idea. Sorry, but I won't have any interest in basketball until January (29%, 77 Votes)
- The loss to Notre Dame was a bad omen. CU can't give up 50 points in a half and expect to win (21%, 56 Votes)

Did CU's win over WSU seal Coach of the Year honors for Mike MacIntyre?
- No. While certainly a front-runner, there is still a great deal of football to be played (39%, 142 Votes)
- Yes. A top ten ranking? For a team picked to finish 6th in its own division? Case closed. (38%, 137 Votes)
- Maybe. When the media figures out that Mac I earned COTY honors in his fourth year, the symmetry will be too hard to resist (23%, 82 Votes)

Chances of CU making it to the College Football Playoffs
- Low. Even with two more wins, CU won't qualify for the final four (49%, 240 Votes)
- Medium. I like the Buffs' chances at getting to (and winning) the Pac-12 title game ... but still not making the top four (44%, 215 Votes)
- High. Wins over Utah and Washington would give CU a title and three straight over ranked opponents (7%, 34 Votes)
Start Date: November 21, 2016 @ 7:39 pm

No. 9 Colorado listed as a ten-point favorite over No. 21 Utah
- About right. It will be a struggle, but the Buffs will wear down the Utes and pull away late (49%, 221 Votes)
- Too high. Utah has a great running game and a great defense. It will be a fight to the end (43%, 196 Votes)
- Too low. Buffs have a division title to play for ... Buffs are on a mission and will win big on Senior night (8%, 34 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
