CU opens as a six-point favorite over CSU. Thoughts?
- About right. CU is a better team, but playing CSU as the first game always makes it a dog fight (63%, 138 Votes)
- Too low. CSU loses a great deal from their roster, and the Buffs will play with purpose like they did in 2016 (CU 44, CSU 7) (25%, 55 Votes)
- Too high. The Buffs played poorly at the end of last season, and the Rams could smell an upset (12%, 27 Votes)

Spring prediction: Who will lead CU in rushing in 2018?
- Transfer Travon McMillan - He had more rushing yards last year than all CU's returning backs combined (64%, 181 Votes)
- Alex Fontenot - Don't sleep on CU's redshirt freshman (21%, 59 Votes)
- Beau Bisharat - He is CU's leading returning running back (12%, 33 Votes)
- One of the seniors: Donovan Lee or Kyle Evans - It's their turn (3%, 10 Votes)
Start Date: January 21, 2018 @ 10:43 pm

Buffs "punked" at home by Washington, 72-62 ...
- Boyle: "I can't tell you how disappointed I am" ... Buff fans can second that notion (41%, 92 Votes)
- CU still 4-4 in Pac-12 ... Buffs doing much better than expected overall, and will only get better (41%, 92 Votes)
- CU exposed as a pretender. A "separation game" indeed. Buffs will settle in the bottom third of the league (as predicted in the preseason) (18%, 43 Votes)
Start Date: January 20, 2018 @ 10:58 pm

Thoughts on CU using tight ends more in the offense in 2018
- I can see it. New co-offensive coordinators, Chris Bounds has potential, and Darrion Jones brings in great stats (55%, 124 Votes)
- Perhaps ... if Jones has seven catches in the Spring Game, I'll become a believer (29%, 65 Votes)
- I can't see it. It's been six years ... tight ends are not a part of CU's game plan (16%, 36 Votes)
Start Date: January 19, 2018 @ 7:59 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Buffs raise Pac-12 record to 4-3 with 82-73 win over Washington State
- Good win. Buffs took care of business overall, which is all you can ask of this young team (60%, 177 Votes)
- Great win! Five Buffs in double figures, game never really in doubt (31%, 92 Votes)
- Scary win. I don't think the Buffs will be able to withstand a 26-5 second half run by a quality opponent and still win (9%, 26 Votes)
Start Date: January 18, 2018 @ 9:00 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
