Thoughts on new Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith
- Not news. Oregon State is the only school in the Pac-12 CU can still look down upon (66%, 157 Votes)
- Good news for Buffs. Not a "home run" hire, and it leaves Washington short a coordinator (29%, 68 Votes)
- Bad news for Buffs. Another former Boise State coach will come back to haunt CU (5%, 13 Votes)

Buffs lose two verbal commitments from the Recruiting Class of 2018
- All I know: I could really use some good news for a change ... when will that be? (50%, 154 Votes)
- Terrible news. The bad news keeps on coming; it's going to be a very long off-season (31%, 96 Votes)
- Not news. Players de-commit all the time. Actually fine with it if it opens up spots for more defensive linemen (19%, 58 Votes)

Is Arizona State "better off" for having fired Todd Graham?
- No. ASU may think it's a "sleeping giant", but history has proven otherwise. Revolving coaches is not the answer (39%, 107 Votes)
- TBD. If ASU gets a home run hire, like Kevin Sumlin, then "yes"; otherwise "no" (39%, 106 Votes)
- Yes. ASU has the right attitude: Mediocrity is not acceptable; teams should play for championships, not the Cactus Bowl (22%, 59 Votes)
Start Date: November 27, 2017 @ 8:36 pm

What does the hiring of Chip Kelly by UCLA mean to Colorado?
- Bad news. UCLA will no longer under-achieve, making it that much tougher for CU to compete in the Pac-12 (63%, 215 Votes)
- Not news. Kelly will get recruits CU couldn't touch anyway, and will implode in a few years. Nothing to see here (24%, 83 Votes)
- Good news. It will force CU's administration to wake up and make coaching changes (13%, 44 Votes)
Start Date: November 26, 2017 @ 8:00 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Utah 34, Colorado 13. Thoughts?
- An embarrassment. Two weeks to prepare, and the Buffs come out flat? Inexcusable. (76%, 248 Votes)
- I just feel sorry for the seniors - especially Phillip Lindsay. They deserved a better outcome to their senior year (18%, 60 Votes)
- A tough loss in a tough season. The Buffs had their chances along the way, but now have to regroup without the benefit of bowl practices (6%, 19 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
