CU at 10-6 at the midway point of the season. Post-season?
- NIT tournament. CU's resume will not get the Buffs into the Big Dance, but the NIT is a realistic goal (67%, 171 Votes)
- NCAA tournament. Buffs have shown they can play with anyone in the Pac-12 (18%, 47 Votes)
- CBI ... or nothing. Buffs still need to show that they can post a winning record ... and win a game on the road (15%, 37 Votes)

Report: DB coach ShaDon Brown to be promoted to defensive passing game coordinator
- Fine with it. Not sure it will make much difference in play of the defense, though (42%, 104 Votes)
- Like it. The secondary played well last year despite losing three players to the NFL (31%, 77 Votes)
- We'll see ... Who will be the coach to replace Brown? (A recruiter, please!) (27%, 69 Votes)

Buffs knock off two ranked Arizona teams
- Great wins! As Tad says, this team can play with any other team in the conference. Well done, Buffs! (50%, 138 Votes)
- It looked like a lost season before this weekend. If nothing else, it bodes well for 2018-19 and beyond (26%, 72 Votes)
- A fun weekend, but let's keep perspective. Five of the next six games are against tourney teams, with four on the road (24%, 67 Votes)
Start Date: January 6, 2018 @ 7:47 pm

New quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper. Thumbs up or thumbs down?
- Thumbs up! Glad to have a coach with that much experience joining the staff. CU is lucky to have Roper in the fold! (85%, 186 Votes)
- Thumbs down! A crony of Mike MacIntyre with no recruiting background in the west. Roper will bring chaos to CU's game-planning structure - I can't see this working out well for the Buffs (15%, 34 Votes)
Start Date: January 5, 2018 @ 8:36 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Which direction will Arizona go in its coaching hire?
- Don't care ... just as long as the Wildcat fans are unhappy with the choice (48%, 118 Votes)
- A "splash" hire, like Les Miles, Butch Jones, Mark Helfrich, Lane Kiffin or Kevin Sumlin (37%, 92 Votes)
- A "smart" hire, like Bryan Harsin (Boise State), Jeff Brohm (Purdue), Mike Norvell (Memphis), or Ken Niumatalolo (Navy) (14%, 34 Votes)
- An outside the box hire (like ASU did with Herm Edwards) (1%, 4 Votes)
Start Date: January 4, 2018 @ 8:20 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
