Utah installed as a four-touchdown favorite over Colorado. Thoughts?
- I can see how Vegas would heavily favor the Utes, but the weather (high of 27; low of 12) may keep the game closer than they expect (46%, 159 Votes)
- Way too high. Las Vegas hasn't noticed the way CU has been playing. That's a bigger spread than the total points allowed to Stanford and Washington. Buffs have a real shot at a win here (31%, 108 Votes)
- About right, I'm afraid. In the last 15 quarters at home, the Ute defense has allowed exactly zero touchdowns. WSU, Cal, ASU and UCLA scored a COMBINED total of 19 points in Salt Lake City (23%, 80 Votes)

Which unit most impressed you in the 20-14 win over Washington?
- The defense. Five sacks and five three-and-outs? An exceptional effort for a unit which has now given up only 27 points in two games - after giving up 30+ points in 14 straight games (96%, 366 Votes)
- The offense. The line was dominant, especially in the decisive fourth quarter when the Buffs were able to run out the final five minutes of clock (3%, 11 Votes)
- Special teams. Alex Kinney was a weapon, and the Buffs actually had more punt return yards than Washington had given up all season (1%, 6 Votes)

Colorado defeats Washington, 20-14. Thoughts?
- Holy crap! A great win for the seniors, a great win for the program. The Recruiting Class had to be watching this game - it's all good!! (58%, 291 Votes)
- On to Utah, with a chance at a bowl game. I don't know if the Buffs can pick up win number six, but a 5-7 season feels a whole lot better this season than the last two 5-7 seasons (27%, 137 Votes)
- A fun win, but it just makes the losses to Air Force, Arizona and USC all the more frustrating (15%, 72 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for CU v. Washington on Senior Night:
- Buff seniors (we're looking at you, Steven Montez!) come through in an upset. Buffs win home finale! (48%, 108 Votes)
- Buffs have enough talent and energy to keep up for a good portion of the game, but Washington will win this won in a close one (32%, 71 Votes)
- Washington held Oregon State to six first downs (none in the second half). I'm afraid that this will be a frustrating defeat, with Washington posting a big win (20%, 46 Votes)
Start Date: November 22, 2019 @ 9:42 pm

The Pac-12 game of the week I'll be paying the most attention to will be:
- UCLA at USC - Helton v. Kelly - Here's guessing that the commentary will be more about the future of the coaches than about the game itself (34%, 70 Votes)
- No. 6 Oregon at Arizona State - Jon Wilner (San Jose Mercury News) and Yogi Roth (Pac-12 Networks) are smelling an upset. For real? (34%, 70 Votes)
- No. 7 Utah at Arizona - No one predicting an upset here. Utah looking to take a seven-game win streak into game against CU; Arizona looking to avoid sixth straight loss (16%, 32 Votes)
- Oregon State at Washington State - The winner becomes bowl eligible, the loser must beat their in-state rival to get to six wins. Call this the "bowl-elimination" bowl (14%, 29 Votes)
- Cal at Stanford - Highlights of the "The band is out on the field" will be more fun than the game between 5-5 Cal and 4-6 Stanford (2%, 4 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
