CU adds its second offensive lineman (and second OL from Mississippi) to the Recruiting Class of 2022, McKale Boley. Thoughts?
- Two offensive line recruits - both from Hattiesburg, Mississippi? Sometimes, you just have to laugh. Fingers crossed that the coaches know what their doing, taking a prospect that only had JC offers (51%, 114 Votes)
- Good to see the Hattiesburg connection continuing! Seriously, Mitch Rodrigue has earned the benefit of the doubt, so I'll trust him on this recruit. Boley is 6'6", 286-pounds - like that frame (26%, 59 Votes)
- Let's not pretend that this is anything but a disappointment. Not rated by 247 Sports - not even in the Rivals database? CU Recruiting is going in reverse gear, and that hurts (23%, 51 Votes)

How would you rate the CU offensive line heading into Fall Camp, 2021?
- To be determined. The pieces are in place, but it remains to be seen how the pieces fit. Will Wray and Fillip become dominant tackles? Will CU be able to avoid injuries to starters? (70%, 125 Votes)
- A definite strength. Four returning starters, with the addition of transfer Max Wray from Ohio State. I'm thinking this could be the best CU offensive line in 20 years (28%, 51 Votes)
- A relative weakness. Athlon has CU's offensive line rated 10th ... in the Pac-12. While national magazines tend to gloss over coverage of CU, the Buffs are guilty until proven innnocent (2%, 3 Votes)

ESPN: Arizona State could challenge Oregon for Pac-12 title; College Football News: ASU could be the Pac-12's biggest disappointment. Which will it be?
- More than any other school ... it depends. If the NCAA comes crashing down on the Sun Devils (it should) a promising season could come crashing down (56%, 111 Votes)
- Disappointment. Did ESPN not notice that ASU hasn't been higher than eight wins in six years, and Herm Edwards has a CU problem (0-2)? (32%, 63 Votes)
- Challenger. Hate to say it, but the Sun Devils have the most quality players back, a very good quarterback in Jayden Daniels, and the easiest schedule in the Pac-12 (12%, 26 Votes)

Big 12 Commissioner sends a "cease and desist" letter to ESPN, claiming the network is conspiring to take down the Big 12 (and end its $1.06B contract). Thoughts?
- It's going to be a drawn out process to unwind existing leagues and contracts. I'm glad we have Rick George on our side, and that George Kliavkoff is there for the Pac-12, and not Larry Scott (50%, 122 Votes)
- Good for the Big 12. ESPN and the SEC are trying to build a monopoly. It's time for the other leagues (along with Fox and CBS) to band together to create a level playing field (37%, 92 Votes)
- Sounds like arguing over who left the barn door open. Of course other leagues are going to be talking to the "Irate Eight". How many eyeballs those teams will bring to the table is a part of that (13%, 32 Votes)

Which Karl Dorrell Pac-12 Media Day press conference quote do you like the best?
- "Nate (Landman), his health report at this time, he’s close to a hundred percent. We do anticipate him being a hundred percent by somewhere in the middle of training camp" (43%, 80 Votes)
- "We like how things are headed, where things are headed, and we feel that we’re going to do some really good things in the future of this program" (29%, 55 Votes)
- "The thing that resonates with me that (Pac-12 Commissioner Kliavkoff) said that I really liked is he said, We’re going to make this a championship program or conference. That’s what I want to hear" (16%, 31 Votes)
- "These young men have done a great job, they really have. But I do think they have given me the benefit of the doubt. That’s all I can ask for as a head coach" (12%, 22 Votes)

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
