CU picks up its first commitment from the Recruiting Class of 2023, defensive end Kam'ron Bizor. Thoughts?
- It's early - neither recruiting service had Bizor rated when he committed - so let's see how this plays out. I hope that CU jumped on a star player early. but we'll see how he ranks next December (57%, 137 Votes)
- Another recruit from talent-rich Houston (good); another recruit in a position of need (defensive line). Like it! (37%, 90 Votes)
- Only one other offer for Bizor (Cal). It's good that CU beat out another Pac-12 rival for Bizor's services, but it would have been nice to see a longer offer sheet (6%, 14 Votes)

Wide receiver Brenden Rice becomes the third starter in as many weeks to enter the Transfer Portal. Thoughts?
- It's becoming apparent that players who weren't recruited by Karl Dorrell aren't buying into his vision. Will that work out for the program? To be determined ... but color me concerned (43%, 166 Votes)
- So much for "CU in '22". It doesn't matter if Dorrell brings in better coaches ... Without the Jimmy's and the Joe's, CU has no chance to compete. A terrible start to 2022 (29%, 115 Votes)
- The losses - Gonzalez, Perry, and Rice - are talented, but are in position groups where there are decent replacements. If CU can pick up some good transfers, it can all work out. Fingers crossed (28%, 109 Votes)

Karl Dorrell hires Rod Chance as CU's new cornerbacks coach. Thoughts?
- I like it. Dorrell is looking for young coaches (check), who have experience in the Pac-12 conference (check) and are good recruiters (check). It's been a good week (48%, 124 Votes)
- It seems like Karl Dorrell has a vision for his coaching staff, and things are falling into place. It's been a tough year, but it seems like its ending on a high (27%, 69 Votes)
- So, CU and Oregon basically trade cornerbacks coaches? Well, if Oregon throws in two starting defensive backs, we'll call it good (25%, 67 Votes)

CU hires its new defensive line coach, Vic So'oto. Thoughts?
- Wow ... just wow! A well-respected young coach with a reputation as being a good recruiter. Love this hire! (50%, 139 Votes)
- As with everything else, it's a wait-and-see with the new coaches. It does seem like Dorrell is addressing huge needs along both lines, which is good to see. Fingers crossed (47%, 129 Votes)
- He is young, and only has two years experience in the Pac-12. I hope this is not another case (like OC Sanford) of the coach (in this case Lincoln Riley) not wanting to retain the coach (3%, 8 Votes)
Start Date: December 30, 2021 @ 5:54 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Air Force and Minnesota (CU road non-conference opponents in 2022) both win their bowl games. Thoughts?
- Doesn't really matter ... Air Force (10-3) and Minnesota (9-4) will both have their way with the Buffs next September. Would have been the case even if they had both lost their bowl games (38%, 85 Votes)
- Both the Falcons and Golden Gophers ended their seasons on highs, and that can help buoy the team (a feeling CU hasn't had since winning the Houston Bowl in 2004) (32%, 72 Votes)
- Bowl games mean little. With opt-outs, COVID issues, and coaching changes, results in bowl games have little or no bearing on the following season (30%, 66 Votes)
Start Date: December 29, 2021 @ 5:42 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
