Which of the following September factoids to you is the most eye-opening?
- That of all of the college football games which were broadcast in the month of September, CU's five games all ranked in the top eight of most watched games. CU is must-see TV (65%, 161 Votes)
- That the Colorado offense posted 22 touchdowns in five games, one more than the CU offense scored in 12 games all of last year. Glad to say that season of 15 points/game is finally fading in my memory (21%, 53 Votes)
- That Shedeur Sanders, in just five games, is already climbing CU's all-time lists (22nd all-time in passing yards; 14th in passing touchdowns; 20th in completions) (14%, 34 Votes)

How would you currently rate CU's bowl prospects in the first year under Coach Prime?
- High. Three wins in the bank, needing only three more out of the next seven games. The top ten opponents are behind us - it's time to pick up some wins and go bowling! (39%, 127 Votes)
- Medium. There are still three ranked opponents to play, and UCLA may be ranked when the Buffs travel to the Rose Bowl. I like CU's chances, but the margin for error is pretty slim (39%, 125 Votes)
- I don't want to talk about it yet ... I might jinx it. Let's talk again after the Arizona State and Stanford games. We'll have a much better idea of CU's chances after the next two games (22%, 70 Votes)

Colorado opens as a 6.0-point favorite on the road against Arizona State (Saturday, 4:30 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks) Thoughts?
- I'm just glad that CU has finally turned the calendar to October, when the Buffs will have games which they realistically can be expected to win. It's going to be a fun ride the rest of the way (55%, 162 Votes)
- It's been three years since the Buffs were favored to win a game on the road (at Arizona in 2020). ASU played USC tough, and will be pumped for this game. This contest scares me, if I'm being honest (34%, 100 Votes)
- Still no respect for the Buffs. Arizona State is 1-4, with the Sun Devils only win coming in a 24-21 nail-biter against ... Southern Utah. Take the bet before the line goes up! (11%, 33 Votes)

No. 8 USC 48, Colorado 41. Thoughts?
- I just hope that the recruits who were at the game, and the 10 million-plus watching the game saw how close the Buffs are to being a good team. A tough loss, but the future is brighter than ever (68%, 256 Votes)
- A great game, despite the loss. This team continues to show great resiliency, and now that the best two teams CU will play are behind us, the sky's the limit! (26%, 97 Votes)
- Just as the upset over TCU only counts for one win, this game goes down as a loss. The Buffs have lost two straight. Sorry the Buffs couldn't play two halves (6%, 23 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Colorado v. No. 8 USC (10:00 a.m., MT, Fox)
- Coach Prime put a bullseye on the Buffs' backs, and while it will serve CU in the long run, it's not going to help this fall against top ten opponents. A USC blowout ... and let's move on to ASU (37%, 77 Votes)
- Three touchdowns is too much for a team which struggled against Arizona State and is facing a 9:00 a.m. body clock kickoff. USC wins, but Buffs make it a game (33%, 69 Votes)
- CU is due! After putting up with the University of Spoiled Children for over a decade, the Buffs under Coach Prime break through - Buffs in an upset! (30%, 62 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
