Mel Kiper has Shedeur Sanders as the third-best quarterback for the 2024 NFL Draft, and possibly the No. 1 overall pick for the 2025 Draft. Thoughts?
- I just like the mental picture of Shedeur coming back for his senior season in 2024. What do you say, Buff fans? Shedeur and Travis No. 1 and No. 2 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft? Mind-blowing thought (78%, 200 Votes)
- Shedeur has been groomed to be an NFL quarterback his entire life. Nice that NFL draftniks are finally noticing, but this news should hardly be considered a surprise (11%, 28 Votes)
- Shedeur has had a great start to his 2023 season, but it's still a small FBS sample. Just another example of the hype the media is putting on CU right now (11%, 28 Votes)

8.73 million viewers watched the Colorado victory over Nebraska. Which of the following to you is the most impressive factoid:
- That the thirst for all things CU and Coach Prime remains insatiable, with both Fox and ESPN setting up their pregame shows in Boulder ... for a Rocky Mountain rout in the making (47%, 121 Votes)
- That last season, CU's viewership averaged 352,000/game, meaning four times as many viewers have watched CU's last two games ... than watched all 12 games last season (27%, 71 Votes)
- That the Buffs v. Cornhuskers were just behind the matchup between two top ten teams, Alabama and Texas (8.76 million), and the CU game was a blowout! (26%, 68 Votes)

Colorado a 23.5-point favorite over CSU. Thoughts on the Buffs being such a heavy favorite?
- I'm just trying to remember the last time CU was favored by this many points against an FBS team (it has to be years). This is a strange new world we're living in (58%, 147 Votes)
- Take the Buffs minus-anything. CSU doesn't have any truly dangerous players on offense, and limited talent on defense. The Buffs' stat sheet gets healthy in a romp over the Lambs (24%, 61 Votes)
- Giving away that many points is a scary proposition. I know it's just scar tissue from the 2022 team, which averaged 15.4 points per game, but giving away that much to anyone seems like a stretch (18%, 45 Votes)

Colorado moves up four spots in both the AP and USA Today/Coaches poll (to No. 18 in the AP; No. 21 in the Coaches). Thoughts?
- Rankings are just the icing on the cake. Beating up on the Cornhuskers is the real reward. I'm going to savor this victory for some time (at least until we beat up on the Rammies next weekend!) (57%, 211 Votes)
- Great recognition for what the Buffs have accomplished. One of only two Power Five teams (Utah the other) with two Power Five wins. "We comin'!" quickly being replaced by "We here!" (23%, 87 Votes)
- It's nice recognition, but it really doesn't mean anything in early September. Once CU gets to six wins and bowl-eligibility, I'll start paying attention to standings and rankings (20%, 74 Votes)

No. 22 Colorado 36, Nebraska 14. Thought?
- Three straight wins over the hated Huskers! It is bad of me to be upset that the Corn got a touchdown in the last minute? A beautiful win - let's go get the Rammies! (47%, 192 Votes)
- Incredible win! Younger fans might not fully appreciate how huge this win is! A great day for the Buffs! We comin'! (32%, 132 Votes)
- The final score doesn't really tell the whole story. If it wasn't for some first half turnovers by Nebraska, it might have been a different game. Plenty to work on going forward (21%, 87 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
