Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher bans his players from bars. Thoughts?
- A good idea. Coaches are held responsible for the conduct of their players, so they should have some control over that conduct (63%, 140 Votes)
- A bad idea. The bars are causing the poor conduct. Recruit better citizens and trust them to understand right from wrong (37%, 83 Votes)

My grade for the CU defensive backs
- B ... CU has some good players, but they need to start dominating games (59%, 116 Votes)
- C ... Experience doesn't equal quality. Until CU gets out of the 100's in pass defense, this is the best grade I can give (31%, 61 Votes)
- A ... Quality returning starters at every position - and Jered Bell is back! (6%, 11 Votes)
- D ... Seven straight games without a pick. 'Nuff said (4%, 8 Votes)

Your take on Coach MacIntyre's concerns about open practices
- If Coach Mac says he got "burned", then restrictions are necessary and should be applied (70%, 122 Votes)
- Not really an issue for most of us ... Very few fans attend practices, anyway (25%, 43 Votes)
- Sounds a little paranoid. Other schools have open practices ... and still find a way to win games (5%, 10 Votes)

Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott rated as the 6th-most influential person in college sports
- About right. Scott is an innovator and a power in collegiate athletics (53%, 47 Votes)
- Too low. Fourth-highest conference commissioner? Scott subject to east-coast bias (35%, 31 Votes)
- Too high. Scott's wholly-owned Pac-12 Networks is costing members millions (12%, 10 Votes)

Kenneth Olugbode and Stephane Nembot to represent CU at Pac-12 media days
- Good choices. I'm sure they will represent CU well. (49%, 97 Votes)
- Olugbode is a junior. I would have thought Nelson Spruce would have been a more logical choice (39%, 78 Votes)
- If they wanted a defensive player, seniors Bell, Crawley or Solis could have been tabbed over Olugbode (12%, 24 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
