Will Rashaan Salaam be elected to the College Football Hall of Fame?
  • Yes. I agree with CBS ... Heisman Trophy winners get in. Salaam should join them (69%, 122 Votes)
  • Yes ... but not this year. It will take a few more years for the voters to come around (22%, 40 Votes)
  • No. Salaam only had one great season, and CU's current irrelevance will work against him (9%, 16 Votes)

Start Date: June 5, 2015 @ 8:57 am
End Date: No Expiry

Former USC QB Max Wittek will start for Hawai'i against CU
  • Somewhat concerned. First games (especially on the road) are difficult, but Buffs should be okay (54%, 136 Votes)
  • Not concerned. Wittek hasn't really played in three years. CU should be able to handle him (24%, 60 Votes)
  • Concerned. CU's first game under Leavitt ... on the road ... against a former four-star quarterback (22%, 56 Votes)

Start Date: June 4, 2015 @ 7:42 am
End Date: No Expiry

CU's picks up its first commitment - three-star quarterback Sam Noyer
  • Good looking recruit. As with most of MacIntyre's commitments, Noyer is more potential than proven quality (58%, 143 Votes)
  • Great pickup! I like his rating, mobility and arm strength (32%, 78 Votes)
  • Not super impressed ... though I am glad that CU finally has a verbal commitment (10%, 26 Votes)

Start Date: June 3, 2015 @ 7:56 am
End Date: No Expiry

CU's first three games kickoff at 7:00 p.m., noon; and 5:00 p.m. - Preference?
  • An early evening is preferable. Plenty of time to tailgate; still get home at a decent hour (48%, 83 Votes)
  • I like the noon kickoffs, as then I can watch the Buffs ... as well as the spotlight games Saturday night (32%, 55 Votes)
  • I like night games (though not 11:00 p.m., MT). Games under the lights are more exciting (20%, 35 Votes)

Start Date: June 2, 2015 @ 8:09 am
End Date: No Expiry

Opposing coach: I don't think there's a tougher rebuilding job in the country (than CU)
  • Agree. With the other five teams in the division winning 9+ games last year, it's very difficult to move up (58%, 144 Votes)
  • Disagree. CU has tradition, a fine school, and (now) comparable facilities. No more excuses! (42%, 105 Votes)

Start Date: June 1, 2015 @ 8:33 am
End Date: No Expiry

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
