CBS Sports Bracketology has CU and CSU facing off in an 8/9 game in the NCAA tournament. Thoughts?
- Let's get CU into the tournament (a couple of wins on the four-game road trip, for instance) before we start worrying about seeding. It was about this time last year that CU's swoon began ... (77%, 196 Votes)
- Love it! It would be great for the state, and would generate a great deal of interest for the Buffs in the local media. Plus ... any chance to beat the Rams should be welcomed! (13%, 34 Votes)
- Not a fan. Tad Boyle needs to get the Buffs into the dance, and then win a game or two. Leading off with an opponent with extra motivation is not a great idea (10%, 23 Votes)

Which Karl Dorrell quote about CU's running backs gets you most excited about the 2021 season?
- “It’s going to be extremely competitive and I love every minute of that. That’s why you’re going to have a good backfield" (83%, 210 Votes)
- "Jarek (Broussard) knows that he’s gonna have to come and earn that job again this year because last year has nothing to do with this year. It’s gonna be really competitive" (12%, 31 Votes)
- "(Alex Fontenot) is a hard-working kid. There’s a burning desire for him to get back in and showcase, really, all the great things that he did in 2019" (5%, 12 Votes)

Buffs rout Oregon State in a re-scheduled game, 78-49. Thoughts?
- Love this result! With stars McKinley Wright and Evan Battey slowed by injuries, non-starters Tristin da Silva (15 pts) and Jeriah Horne (16 pts) have huge games. Bodes well for the future (45%, 116 Votes)
- Nice to finish off the homestand with an easy win, but CU's standing in the Pac-12 (and tournament seeding) will depend on the upcoming four-game road trip. Fingers crossed (35%, 88 Votes)
- Glad that the Buffs were able to get this makeup game out of the way with a stress-free win. With two more games in the next five days, any rest for the starters is welcome (20%, 51 Votes)

Which quote from Notre Dame transfer linebacker Jack Lamb do you like the most?
- “What made me choose Colorado and what put them over the top was they’re a program headed in the right direction. They're on the rise" (56%, 152 Votes)
- “I talked to (CU DB Mark Perry) a little bit, picked his brain about the school and he said he loved it there. He said the coaching staff is awesome. He had all positive things to say" (34%, 93 Votes)
- "I want to showcase my ability at the next level. I want to show I can go to the NFL, and they were willing to give me the opportunity to prove that" (10%, 27 Votes)

Buffs scratch out an 82-79 win over Arizona. Thoughts?
- A huge win. Yes, the Buffs again blew a big lead, but found a way to win anyway. Arizona is CU's nemesis, so every win over the Wildcats is one to be treasured. I hope the Buffs can build on this win (50%, 133 Votes)
- Buffs are a tough team to love, but they are getting closer and closer to their first tournament bid since 2016. Hard on the blood pressure, but they're still my Buffs! (33%, 89 Votes)
- Sound familiar? Buffs race out to a big early lead (in this case, 19-2) then blow it. Not a great formula for tournament success (17%, 45 Votes)

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
