The best part about CU selling out its season tickets for the third consecutive year is ...
- That CU has sold out season tickets three years in a row, after not doing it once since 1996. With 12,000 student tickets, CU has 38,000 tickets sold even before single game tickets went on sale (48%, 48 Votes)
- That it shows that the Buff Nation continues to have faith in Coach Prime and his methods. Even without Shedeur and Travis, the Buffs are still a hot ticket (42%, 42 Votes)
- That CU was able to sell out its season tickets even with seven home games (more $$$ from season ticket holders), and despite not having a national power on the home slate (10%, 11 Votes)

Which of the newly announced kickoff times for CU games go you like the best?
- Delaware at Colorado - Saturday, September 6th, 1:30 p.m., MT, on Fox. A fresh fall afternoon at Folsom ... and a nationally televised game to boot! Can't ask for much more than that! (63%, 94 Votes)
- Colorado at Houston - Friday, September 12th, 5:00 p.m., MT, on ESPN. National coverage of CU for a (winnable) Big 12 conference opener. And it doesn't hurt that it's at night in steamy Houston (19%, 28 Votes)
- BYU at Colorado - Saturday, September 27th, 8:15 p.m., MT, ESPN. The kickoff time isn't great, but it's a national game (again!), and, if CU can get to the BYU undefeated, this could be a huge game (18%, 28 Votes)

Thoughts on having a 16-team College Football Playoff, with five conference champions and 11 at large bids
- Only if the SEC goes to a nine-game conference schedule. Giving out at-large bids when SEC teams schedule an extra patsy every year is unfair ... and the media already favor SEC teams in their ratings (44%, 43 Votes)
- I like it. A guaranteed spot (most years) for the Big 12 champ, plus a fair shot at the playoffs as at large team. Works for me and my Buffs (35%, 34 Votes)
- I just wish that they would just get these patchwork fixes over with, set up the Super League, employ players ... and go from there (21%, 21 Votes)

CU's only appearance on the 2026 EA Sports cover is on a Nebraska license plate. Thoughts?
- Just proof to the nation that CU lives in the heads of Nebraska fans. Not Iowa. Not Minnesota. Not Ohio State. Not Michigan. No Big Ten schools ... Colorado. Love it! (48%, 60 Votes)
- I can only wonder what Nebraska fans are thinking about this cover. The Cornhuskers' representation is an old guy holding up a "Beat CU" sign. How far the mighty have fallen! (34%, 43 Votes)
- Not much in the way of Big 12 representation, which is unfortunate. A pretty big come down from having Travis Hunter being featured on the cover. CU will have to work its way back into the spotlight (18%, 22 Votes)

Big Ten/SEC looking a CFP model with 16-teams, with four guaranteed spots, plus a double-bye for top two teams. Thoughts?
- Doesn't really matter. This is all just posturing for the next five years or so, until the Super League is formed. I just wish they would cut through the preliminaries and get the Super League set up (59%, 71 Votes)
- Now we're getting into obscene territory. Four guaranteed spots, plus a double-bye for top two teams? Just let them have their own super conference and be done with it (28%, 34 Votes)
- I would like it if the ACC and Big 12 have three guaranteed slots. I want my Buffs to have a chance for a title, and having three spots is better than two (if Big 12 only gets two - then no, I'm out0 (13%, 15 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
