Which national ranking would you rate as the most inaccurate?
  • CU ranked 99th-best team in the nation (11th in the Pac-12) (63%, 161 Votes)
  • None of the above ... all three are (unfortunately) pretty fair assessments (17%, 43 Votes)
  • Steven Montez the No. 53 quarterback (7th in Pac-12) (13%, 32 Votes)
  • Mike MacIntyre the No. 42 coach in the Power-Five conferences (8th in Pac-12) (7%, 18 Votes)

USA Today has CU ranked as the 99th-best team in the nation
  • Ridiculous and uninformed. I hope this article is posted in the CU locker room and weight room (44%, 116 Votes)
  • Not interested. Any list which has CU ranked below CSU, Akron, and Old Dominion is not worthy of attention (40%, 105 Votes)
  • Hard to take, but, based upon CU's recent history, the Buffs have to prove themselves on the field (16%, 43 Votes)

Washington State audit finds mismanagement ... and a $67M budget deficit
  • Just goes to show how well Rick George & Co. have done in handling CU's expansion (46%, 91 Votes)
  • Interesting that Nebraska hired away the AD who created all of the problems (44%, 87 Votes)
  • And yet Washington State continues to field winning football teams ... must be nice (10%, 22 Votes)

Jon Wilner rates CU quarterbacks 9th in the Pac-12
  • Unfortunately, the ranking is about right. Montez has a great deal to prove this season (58%, 98 Votes)
  • Way too low. Montez has more experience than most of the QB's in conference (36%, 61 Votes)
  • Actually, it may even be too high. The sooner CU's coaches realize the backups are more talented, the better (6%, 10 Votes)

Pac-12 revenues top $500 million for the first time
  • Would like it to be better ... but when you remember CU's Big 12 distributions of $8-$10 million/year ... it's a nice paycheck (71%, 86 Votes)
  • Lousy news. Distributions of $30.9 per school is still well behind other Power-Five conference distributions (17%, 20 Votes)
  • Great news! Revenues up over 53% in five years? Hard to be disappointed with those numbers (12%, 15 Votes)

  1. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  2. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  3. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
