My interest in the World University Games ...
- Low ... I just hope Dinwiddie doesn't get hurt during the tournament (39%, 80 Votes)
- Medium ... I'll check the box scores and game stories, but it's not a high priority (31%, 62 Votes)
- High ... I want to see how Spencer Dinwiddie competes with the best of the best (30%, 61 Votes)

If I were a bettor, my take on the 3.5 over/under for Colorado this fall:
- Take the over, but only bet what you can afford to lose ... it'll be close (53%, 138 Votes)
- Have to take the under. CU facing nine teams projected to go bowling ... if that holds, best case is 3-9 (38%, 99 Votes)
- Bet the farm on the over. Vegas doesn't know how much things have improved in Boulder (9%, 23 Votes)

Fall camp opens in a month. My feelings about the 2013 season right now ...
- Guarded optimism. Get back to me when CU has a starting quarterback (and a few other pieces) in place (62%, 138 Votes)
- Excited. All reports are positive. CU has talent, and will surprise many with its win total this fall (25%, 55 Votes)
- Dread. Realistically, CU is still a bad team. Best hope for 2013 is for fewer blowout losses. (13%, 28 Votes)

FSU brings back Bobby Bowden for marketing and fund-raising. CU should:
- At least consider a similar deal, but must wait for the new AD to make it part of their program (43%, 76 Votes)
- Not follow suit. Mac is a lightning rod, with as many detractors as supporters (35%, 61 Votes)
- Do the same with Bill McCartney. He has the energy, connections, and passion (22%, 39 Votes)

CU up to 8th in the Pac-12 in recruiting rankings (No. 62 overall)
- Good news. Buffs will be lapped when big-time commits start coming in, but I'm happy right now (46%, 99 Votes)
- Great news! What Mac & Co. are accomplishing gives great hope for the future (37%, 80 Votes)
- Sorry, but it's a sad commentary when it's good news to get close to the top 50% nationally (17%, 38 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
