My reaction to QB Shane Dillon leaving the team
- Neutral. Shane wasn't likely in the mix to start, anyway. Wish him luck and move on. (58%, 174 Votes)
- Net gain. More reps for the remaining quarterbacks, one more scholarship available for the Class of 2014 (22%, 67 Votes)
- Net loss. Another black eye for CU. Can't the Buffs hang on any quarterbacks? (20%, 57 Votes)

If CU were asked to play a regular season basketball game in China ...
- All for it. The national exposure would be great for CU athletics (43%, 62 Votes)
- Depends. A non-conference basketball game in November could work (39%, 57 Votes)
- No way. CU would likely have to give up a home game, and the Buffs don't want to give up games at the CEC (18%, 26 Votes)

Team USA locked into worst World University Games results ever
- To be honest, if Spencer Dinwiddie hadn't been on the team, I wouldn't have even noticed (82%, 138 Votes)
- Bad news, as the USA continues its international decline in the sport it invented (10%, 17 Votes)
- Nothing to see here. USA finished 5th two years ago; games not taken seriously (head coach from Davidson, after all) (8%, 14 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
