NCAA now allowing programs to pay players to work at camps
- Good idea. Players get paid, and can learn a few things about coaching along the way (54%, 83 Votes)
- Just a band-aid on a flesh wound - a stop-gap measure on the road to "pay-for-play" (26%, 40 Votes)
- Bad idea. Coaches paying players? Hmmm - can't see that ever becoming a problem!! (20%, 31 Votes)

My thoughts on CU's Recruiting Class of 2015 to date
- Satisfied. Some good recruits so far, but Mac & Co. still have a lot of catching up to do (51%, 111 Votes)
- Excited. Grabbing in-state stars while addressing areas of need. Looking good so far! (37%, 79 Votes)
- Non-plussed. Even after adding Lynott ... 79th in the nation and 11th in the Pac-12. Hard to get excited about these numbers (12%, 26 Votes)

Two months out from the start of the 2014 season, I am ...
- Cautiously optimistic. CU will be better, but the final record may not reflect the improvement (58%, 143 Votes)
- Excited. Coach Mac & Co. have got the Buffs heading in the right direction - a surprise team in '14! (28%, 69 Votes)
- Anxious. Until CU starts proving it on the field, I am going to be wary of predicting success (14%, 36 Votes)

Should CU offer a four-year guaranteed scholarship?
- Yes. It's coming nationally. It wouldn't hurt to be in the lead on this issue (47%, 73 Votes)
- Perhaps, but I would wait for now to see how this plays out with the rest of the conference (39%, 60 Votes)
- No. There are many reasons why a player and a school should not be married for four/five years (14%, 21 Votes)

Last vote: Thursday night, Spencer Dinwiddie will hear his name called ...
- Early in the second round. This seems to be where most mock drafts have him slotted. (45%, 81 Votes)
- Late in the first round. CU surprises - again! - with a first round pick (40%, 72 Votes)
- Mid- to late-second round. It doesn't seem like he's really made much of a splash this spring (15%, 27 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
