Should CU offer a four-year guaranteed scholarship?
  • Yes. It's coming nationally. It wouldn't hurt to be in the lead on this issue (47%, 73 Votes)
  • Perhaps, but I would wait for now to see how this plays out with the rest of the conference (39%, 60 Votes)
  • No. There are many reasons why a player and a school should not be married for four/five years (14%, 21 Votes)

Last vote: Thursday night, Spencer Dinwiddie will hear his name called ...
  • Early in the second round. This seems to be where most mock drafts have him slotted. (45%, 81 Votes)
  • Late in the first round. CU surprises - again! - with a first round pick (40%, 72 Votes)
  • Mid- to late-second round. It doesn't seem like he's really made much of a splash this spring (15%, 27 Votes)

CU picks up non-conference "gimmes" for 2016 & '17
  • Understand it. As long as CU is stuck with the CSU series, one-game "play-for-pay" games are necessary (64%, 122 Votes)
  • Like it! With the Pac-12 as hard as it is, a few guaranteed wins will sure help (25%, 48 Votes)
  • Hate it! Just because Utah is playing Idaho State and Oregon State is playing Portland State, doesn't mean CU has to join suit (11%, 21 Votes)

Start Date: June 24, 2014 @ 3:46 pm
End Date: No Expiry

How much attention do you pay to preseason projections for CU's opponents?
  • A little. I'll spend some time on other teams, but my focus remains with the Buffs (56%, 111 Votes)
  • None. Preseason projections, like star-ratings for recruits, is of little or no real world value (29%, 57 Votes)
  • A great deal. It's important to know how other programs are progressing/regressing (15%, 30 Votes)

Start Date: June 23, 2014 @ 9:40 am

My level of interest in the World Cup ...
  • High. After all, two-to-three billion soccer fans can't all be wrong! (38%, 96 Votes)
  • Medium. I have a passing interest because the U.S. is involved, but that's about it. (31%, 78 Votes)
  • Low. Two hours of my life for a 0-0 draw? Please. The game is made for a 90-second "highlight" package on SportsCenter and nothing more (31%, 76 Votes)

Start Date: June 21, 2014 @ 9:17 pm

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
